Health Insurance
OSHC (Overseas student Health Cover)
International students undertaking formal studies in Australia,
and their dependents (for example, spouses and children
under 18 years old), must obtain OSHC. It includes cover for
visits to the doctor, some hospital treatment, ambulance cover
and limited pharmaceuticals (medicines).
Immigration requires overseas students to maintain OSHC for
the duration of their visa.

Post study work visa stream applies to students who have
studied at least two academic years study. This degree could
be a Diploma, Bachelor, Master or PhD.
Under this stream, successful applicants are granted a visa of
two, three or four years duration, depending on the highest
educational qualication they have obtained.
