I had been experienced problem based learning during my involvement in group discussion
for certain subjects.

I was involved with this kind of learning during my diploma period for few subjects such as
Kewarganegaraan and occupational safety and health.

Individual Weekly Reflection on Personal and Group Learning Experience


1. Reflect on your weekly learning experience.
Every week, we will be given a task which will be problem based learning scenario. We will
be asked to do brainstorming first to extract ideas from the given scenario. Then we will be
given task to fill the FILA table for the given scenario. A moderator, presenter and scriber
were appointed for each group to do their tasks. This role will be changed for next upcoming
ladder. Myself as a team member for the first ladder, I have cooperated by giving ideas to
solve the problem given.
2. Reflect on your group weekly activities / performance.
All of my group members cooperated well and performed well during the preparation of
brainstorming part and FILA table. At the end of class, tasks were divided fairly among
group members to prepare report and slides for presentation. All of the group members gave
done their task on time and the done work was compiled by the group leader.

All of my group members have shown great character and enthusiasm throughout the 14
weeks of problem based learning method.
2. Overall Personal Reflection on Learning Experience (To be filled at the end of semester)
I found this method is an effective way of learning. This method can also improve our
communication skills and foster better bonding among group members. We can also think
critically and able to receive critics from other group members.
