Dear CSE/IT students, Parents, Friends and Colleagues,

We are welcoming many new students in the beginning of the 2010-11

academic year. Under the increasingly more selective admission policies,
we have observed steady increase in undergraduate enrollment since 2007.

We also welcome five new Lecturers, Mrs. Shanu Singh, Mrs. Promila Kadian, Mrs. Nishu, Miss
Manu, Mrs. Renu,

I am personally very concerned about summer training of students so that they can have brief
introduction to real environment, for this every student should enroll for summer training in
some company.
We welcome every suggestion, critique for enhancement of technological training for developing
our students to face the challenges of real world.

EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES
Molecular Imaging - Multiple imaging
techniques - magnetic, nuclear, and optical - are
combined with computer analysis to observe
molecular interactions underlying biological
processes. Molecular signals may indicate cancer
growth, for example, long before the cancers are
detectable by conventional means.generated when
struck by sunlight.
Nanoimprint Lithography - Like a printing
press, a hard mold is stamped into a material
momentarily softened by a laser flash, creating
reproducible features smaller than 10 nanometers
across in less than a microsecond. The
commercial challenge is to etch nanopatterns into
silicon for microchips.
Brain-Wireless Sensor Networks - Small
(AA battery sized) devices called motes combine a
processor, memory, and sensors to monitor their
local environment, and have just enough radio
power to transmit snippets of data to nearby motes
to pass along to other motes, thereby creating a
self-organizing network. Applications include
traffic, buildings, and ecosystems.
Quantum Cryptography - Commonly used
encryption of messages is based on fixed "public
keys," whose codes have not been broken yet, but
they will be someday. Quantum encryption creates
a unique "key" for each message, and any attempt
to intercept the message irrevocably alters the
signal, making the message unreadable to anyone.
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
4G technology is the latest technology that aims to
speed up communication.4G technology will
increase speed of access for activities such as
wireless broadband acess and multimedia
messaging and allow for widespread use of video
chat and mobile television.
3G technology s currently in use in the U.S. and the
speed that it moves data is roughly 1 megabit per
second. It is anticipated that the new 4G
technology will move data closer to 12 megabits per
second.
BRAIN MAPPING
It is a test that maps the brain to reveal 'guilty
knowledge’. The brain-mapping test is done to
interpret the behaviour of the suspect and
corroborate the investigating officers' observation
and the suspect's statements.Studies have shown
that an innocent suspect's brain would not have
stored or recorded certain information, which an
actual perpetrator's brain would have stored.

HEAT SENSITIVE T-SHIRTS

The first S.A.D. (Seasonal Affective Disorder) T-Shirt by
Keith Hancox has a sun and cloud design where the sun
has been overprinted with black heat sensitive ink.The
ink turns transparent at 32 degree centigrade
