"For eight years I spent three months each year working on the
fishing boats catching flyingfish," the mustachioed German
said at his home last month. "I also spent a long time each year
out camping on the mountain trails, building walking paths."

"I close up the hives, put the bees on a truck and drive to
Maizuru, near Kyoto," Kaminski explained. From there he
catches a ferry to Hokkaido.
"The bees are fine as long as you keep them cool," he said.

Mocchomudake as the weather became warmer.
