beginning runner should keep three things in mind: the warm-up


session, the time you are running, and the cool-down period. Never
start a run without first having warmed up through stretching
exercises. Stretching before a run reduces muscle stiffness,

steady and comfortable pace. Your breathing should be deep and
with rhythm. Be careful that you dont try to overdo it at first. If
you have been inactive for a long period of time, you cant expect to

lose weight, to increase heart and lung capacity, and that you will
wind up feeling better all overnight. Finally, remember to cool down
after a run. An adequate cool-down period allows times for the
body to relax and the normalizing of the heart rate.
