To all AUB continuing previous financial aid applicants, these are AUB current students who have
previously submitted an application for financial aid, at least once, irrespective of whether they have
been granted financial aid.
Kindly note that the on-line application for 2016-2017 is now available on the web and the deadline is
April 22, 2016.
Previous Financial Aid Applicants can only apply ONLINE for academic year 2016-2017.

Instructions how to fill the Online Application only for continuing previous FAID applicants
It is very important to read the instructions and messages carefully before and while filling the
application
Any error messages that are displayed while filling the application must be noted and reported to the
Financial Aid Office as this may jeopardize the application status on the system.
Step 1.
Go to AUB Homepage
Click on AUBsis
Click on Enter Secure Area
Enter your User ID (Your User ID is your Student ID number and not AUBnet login) and your PIN
ID: 200515000
PIN: 111111
Click on Login
Choose Student Award and Financial Aid Tab
Click on Apply for Student Aid
How to Follow Proper On-Line Application Procedures
Fill in all the relevant fields.

Missing information will render your application incomplete.

After saving the online application and before clicking the Submit button, applicants should make
sure to have a printed hard copy of the application.
Once you submit your online application it is very imperative that you enter it again to check that
all information is correctly saved.
Applicants must make sure to click the submit button or else the application will not be loaded on
the financial aid system, even if printed and submitted as a hard copy.
It is also preferable to do periodic checking of the data entered, however changes are possible
only before the deadline, date after which you can access your application only for display.

In order to avoid problems in the application process or the cancellation of your application, the
above proper procedures must be followed.

All documents that you submit must be recent except for the certificate of ownership. The required
documents are listed within the application; it is your responsibility to make sure that your
application is complete.
- Start as early as possible to fill your application and don't wait till the deadline period to submit your
file, otherwise you will have to wait in long queues.
- Do not hesitate to ask the staff of the Financial Aid Office for any clarification.
Step 2 :

Make a printout of your filled on-line application and submit it along with a passport-size photograph
and all required documents to the Financial Aid Office IN PERSON prior to the deadline.
Applications that have missing information and/or missing documents will be considered
incomplete and hence will not be evaluated.
Students should submit their applications and supporting documents by the appropriate deadline.
The Online Application will therefore be accessible through the link below only during the set deadline
shown in this message
Students should consider not waiting till the last few days since filling the application and preparing all
the required documents may take around a week.
After the deadline of each period, the online application will not be accessible except for display
of information. Changes are not allowed after the deadline.

List of Required Documents

A passport-size photograph.
Transcript of grades .
Employment Records:
Recent Employment Certificate(s) for job(s) held by each earning member of the family clearly
stating occupation, job title, years of service, and benefits (e.g. educational benefits,
accommodation, etc...). These are obtained from Employers.
Employee Income Statement - Form A (click to download) duly filled, signed and stamped by the
employer of each earning member of the family. If working for the public sector, the Income
Statement issued by the government should be submitted (the monthly payroll slip is not valid).
For each earning member of the family who is (are) self-employed, documentation for annual
income should be provided by the family member by completing the Income Statement - Form B
(click to download) and providing with it the Business Registration, income tax statements, and
the business bank statement of account for the last 3 years.
Recent school certificate of registration showing annual tuition fees and receipts of paid fees for
each dependent child enrolled at school or university.
Family Civil Status Record (issued within the previous 3 months). Click to view Sample .

Photocopy of recent rental contract(s) and/or ownership deed(s) of house, resort, land and
business premises (if applicable).
Certificate of ownership in the name of the father and mother from the Land Registry
Department in Beirut and in the Caza where the family is registered. These are be obtained from
the Ministry of Finance located in Khandak Al-Ghamik area, near Fouad Shehab Bridge,
Moukarzel building, 9th floor. Last year the cost of these documents was LL 266,000 for both

ownership from the Land Registry Department (or equivalent document) where the family
resides is adequate.
Photocopy of car(s) registration form for each car owned by family.
Photocopy of loan agreement(s), if any, with all supporting documents.
Bank statement certificate of savings (if any).
If the applicant is married, all documents related to the spouse must be as well submitted. This
includes above items 3 to 10.
Any additional document that would support the application for financial aid (e.g. medical
reports and recent medical/hospital bills, certificate of job termination or end of service, etc...).
