The writter would like to kowledge my countless thanks to the Most Gracious and
the Most Merciful, Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa who always give me all the best of this life
and there is no doubt about it. This report is presented to fulfill one of the requirements in
accomplishing the Engish Lesson II in Polythecnic of Health Denpasar spesially Nursing
Departement.
The writter would like to take my opportunity to express my deep and sincere
gratitude to the following.
1. Mrs Yuni as head of Nursing Department who give permission to me and all of
my friends for practice at Kuta beach.
2. Mrs Yuni and her team as a person in charge of the course of English Lesson II
of DIII Polytecnic of Health Denpasar who has given suggestion and critics to
the report. It will be heard for the writter to make the report becomes perfect
without her cotributions.
3. Mr Ketut Suardana as a member of teaching team who give knowledge and help
me make this report perfect.

BACKGROUND

Bali is one of the tourist destination of the world. Many local and foreign tourist who
come to visit Bali. To make it easier to communicate with them we need to learn Engish,
because English is the international language that connect individuals from various countries.
If its connected with the nurse,you will work for the holistics well being of individuals, their
families and the order groups. Promoting and maintaning good health as well as preventing
and theating illneses will be your main interest. A nurses expertise is bassed in scientific
evidence.
Possesing theoritical knowledge and practicial skill enabels nurse to advise and
support the individuals and their significant others among things. A nurses ability to develops
his or her work also plays a key role. Good interaction skills and communication skills are
also required in nursing. Nurse education contains seueral work placements, where the
students work with their future colleagues in various health care setting, develoving their own
profesional skill and the nursing profession.
1. English may not be the most spoken language in the world, but it is the official
language in a large numbers of countries. It is estimated that the number of
people in the world that use in English to communicate on a regular basis is 2
billion.
2. Englsih is the dominant bussines language and it has become almost a necessity
for people o speak english, if they one o enter a global work force, research from
all over the world shows that the cross-border bussines communication is most
often conducted in english. Its importance in the global market place therefor
cant be understand, learning english really can change your life.
As well as in the beach community, here we are in demand to serve foreign tourist
such as blood preassure, wound care, and soo on. So when we provide a nursing care for
foreign tourist, we must be good interaction and communication to give profesiona nursing
care.

This interview for my English task in Polyechnic Denpasar spesially Nursing
Departmen. The result from interview will use to make report as prerequirement practice
English Lesson II at Kuta Beach.
Me : hello, good evening Mr.
Mr Ray : good evening.
Me : My name is Anna, Im a student at Poltechinc of Denpasar spesially Nursing
Department. Well I have a project of my collage to make video with tourist in Kuta
Beach about health and my topic about history about hospitalized. Can you help me?
Mr Ray : Ok of course, i can help you.
Me : Ok thank you Mr. May I now what is your good name?
Mr. Ray : My name is Ray
Me : Where are you from Mr?
Mr Ray : Im come from Melbourne, Australia.
Me : Where do you live in Bali Mr?
Mr Ray : I live in a hotel near at Kuta
Me : When you come to Bali?
Mr Ray : I come to Bali on Monday
Me : And with whom you come to Bali ?
Mr Ray : With my grandson
Me : Just you two?
Mr Ray : Yes, just me and my grandson
Me : Is it your first time come to Bali?
Mr Ray : Yes, this is my first time come to Bali for holiday
Me : And how long you stayed a Bali for this holiday?
Mr Ray : Just two weeks
Me : Im sorry Mr, I ask you he sensitive question. Are you smoke or drink?
Mr Ray : I dont smoke but I drink
Me : Ok Mr, may I now did you ever hospitalized?
Mr Ray : Yes, I ever been hospitalized maybe 3 or 5 years ago.
Me : How can it be you hospitalized?
Mr Ray : My leg was broken because the accident
Me : When you hospitaized?

Mr Ray : I dont remember when i was hospitalized maybe 3 or 5 years ago

Me : How long you got hospitalized?
Mr Ray : 3 weeks
Me : How about the action of the medical team to handle your illnes
Mr Ray : I think the medical team is very good and fast to handle my illnes
Me : In your opinion how about nursing action when she give nursing care for your illnes?
Mr Ray : Nurse is very friendy and profesional when she gave the nursing care to me
Me : As we know that each hospital in each country in the world mus have a nurse. What do
you thing about the nurse in your country?
Mr Ray : The nurse in Australia is profesional and good in communication when she gave
the nursing care
Me : Whether the added value that the nurse in your country have?
Mr Ray : The added value that the nurses in my country have is profesional, good in
communication and good caring
Me : Beside that, what do you do to maintain your health after discharge from hospital?
Mr Ray : I do some excercise like jogging
Me : Ok this is the a spesial question for you. What do you think about Bali?
Mr Ray : Because it is the first time I come to Bali, i think Bali is a good place
Me : Why did you choose Bali as a place to spend your holiday?
Mr Ray : Bali is very close to Australia maybe 5 hour by plane from Melbourne
Me : During in Bali, have you ever tried Balinese food?
Mr Ray : Yes, I love Balinese food such as Nasi goreng, Sate, bakso
Me : What do you think about Balinese culture or Balinese people?
Mr Ray : Bali is very different to Australia, Bali have more passion. In the biggest city
people again to cranky to quick for the example if where everybody road by bike in
Melbourne they more get cranky but people here have more passion more tolerence
Me : Okey, when you will be back to your country?
Mr Ray : Next Friday
Me : Okey Mr please give your message and impression during you in Bali.
Mr Ray : I was supprised, very impressed, very happy people, a lot to be happy thats he
point.
Me : Thanks for your time Mr and I hope you enjoyed and happy in Bali. Nice to meet you
and have a nice day Mr
