This Code of Ethical Conduct is meant as a guide and help to all employees. It sets out standards of
conduct which employees are expected to follow when within or XXXX School.
The underlying purpose is to ensure that the students and other stakeholders of xxxxxxxxxx School
are provided a high quality of experience and to promote confidence in the integrity of the school.
The school recognizes that sound ethical standards are essential to smooth functioning and will
serve to increase effectiveness and add value to the schools atmosphere.
It has been drafted to comply with the schools policy and procedures.
Employees should read this Code carefully and clarify any doubts they may have.
Each employee agrees:
1. To abide by this Code of Ethical conduct, making the well-being of the students and the
honest performance of professional duties core guiding principles.
2. To obey local, state and national laws, codes and regulations.
3. To recognize that the school was founded and has adopted the principles of Shariah and to
practice the same.
4. To treat all persons with respect and to strive to be fair in all matters.
5. To take responsibility and be accountable for his or her actions.
6. To avoid conflicts of interest or any appearance of impropriety.
7. To be efficient and effective in the delivery of job duties.
As an employee, you are required to adhere to the following codes:
A. Exclusivity of service
1. The school does not preclude any employee unreasonably from undertaking additional
employment but you are required to devote your employment time, attention and abilities
during the working hours to act in the best interest of the school at all times. Any additional
employment which might interfere with your performance at the school or might generate a
conflict of interest with the school requires prior written approval from the school.
B. Confidentiality
1. You are expected to maintain appropriate level of confidentiality where required,
particularly with respect to student and staff records and other sensitive matters which
may cause distress to students, staff and management. Further, you may not use any
school related information for your personal interest.
C. Solicitation
1. You shall not directly or indirectly solicit any gifts whether in the form of money, gifts,
loan, travel or any other form, which could be construed as a reward for any official
action or biased decision making on your part. The school however welcomes and
encourages letters of appreciation to you. Gifts from students that are principally
sentimental in nature and of insignificant financial value may be accepted in the spirit
that they are given and with approval from the school management.
