School
a. Where do you go to school? What is that school like? Why do you go there? Were there any other options? Why did you
choose that school? What do you like or dont like about your school?
b. What are the similarities and differences in the Hungarian and English education systems?
c. What are your favourite subjects and why? How much time do you spend with studying? How do you study? Why is learning
languages important?

a)

I go to a high school in Szzhalombatta. Its name is Arany Jnos Primary School and Secondary School. It is a big
school with a lot of classrooms and a big gym. Our school has a garden around the school, which is beautiful, peaceful
and where the children can play at the break time. I learn in this school, because here are lot of opportunities to learn
foreign languages, it is a really good school to learn all the subjects and my parents wanted me to study there, so I had no
choice, I have to study here. I like this school, because it is so beautiful, there are lots of opportunities to learn foreign
languages, my classmates are friendly and my headmaster is kind and helpful, on the other hand, I dont really like this
school, because sometimes really difficult to learn every day and we have some bad teachers, who are not so helpful and
friendly.
b)
The Hungarian and the English education systems have many differences. For example: at the Hungarian schools
lessons starts at 8 oclock, but at the English schools the teaching doesnt start at 8 oclock and the youngest children in
the English schools are 4 years old however, at Hungary they are 6 years old or at the English schools there are not
canteens, but at the Hungarian schools there are canteens. Anyway the Hungarian and the English education system have
some similarities. For example: there are after-school activities at Hungary and England or the subjects are Science,
Literature and Math in England and Hungary.
c)
My favourite subjects are the languages, English and Italian. I love these subjects, because the teachers are
helpful, kind and the lessons are interesting and colourful. Im studying at home, but sometimes at the school when we
have some time between 2 lessons. I usually learn at home about 2 or 2 and a half hour. When I study, I usually turn of the
computer, sit in my bed and learn till I finish it.

2. Environment
a. Where do you live from the closest to the widest environment? What is your place like?
b. What is environment protection? Why do we have to protect our environment? What is the quality of the environment in
Hungary? What is climate change? What is your opinion about climate change?
c. How important the natural environment in your life? What can you do for the environment?

a) I live close to the nature, because I live in a small town, in Adony. Adony is a small town in the county Fejr, with 3-4
thousands of inhabitant. It is a peaceful, environmentally friendly and beautiful place. People are friendly, helpful and kind
there. It hasnt got Tesco or any different supermarket, but we have and ABC, a beautiful park and an isle along the Danube.
b) What is the environment protection? It is a hard question. We say environmental protection when we do things, which can
save our environment, our planet. We have to protect our environment, because if we dont protect it, it will die and the Earth
wont be a suitable place where we can live. I think the quality of the environment is bad in Hungary, so we should do
something for the environment. What is the climate change? It is a hard question too. The climate is permanently changing,
because of the pollution. We can feel the climate change in this year. Firstly, the weather was cold at March and it was
snowing. Secondly, after snowing the weather was hot. I dont like this weather, because one day I wear boots with warm
clothes and another day I wear shorts with t-shirt, so I really hate it.
c) The nature is very important for me and for my family. We always try to make our environment better. We do lots of
things to protect the environment. For example: we dont letter or waste water, collect the PET bottles and take them to a
collection point, use LED lights and similar things. We can save the environment with things that dont require much effort.
For example we should use environmentally friendly cable car, which doesnt emit dangerous chemicals in the air. We
shouldnt waste water or pollute the water with toxics/chemicals, because these things destroy the environment. These little
things can make our planet much better.
A few more things:
Green-house effect?? Cars, buses, factories emit a lot of CO2 and dangerous chemicals. The really big problem with
it:
CO2 doesnt let the heat to leave our planet causes global warming
The different types of chemicals can cause acid rains, actually they because it, and damage the environment like the
trees bushes ect. So we MUST stop it by using renewable energy sources like solar energy/wind energy ect.
Collecting the rubbish and the trashes in the forests can help a lot (or not throw them away). On the other hand
collecting the rubbish selectively can help a lot again.
So to sum up we must protect our word our planet, because we have got only one from this! LOVE YOU EARTH.
