Your house and your kingdom shall endure forever before me; your
throne shall stand
firm forever.
A reading from the book of the prophet Samuel
The LORD spoke to Nathan and said:
Go, tell my servant David,
When your time comes and you rest with your ancestors,
I will raise up your heir after you, sprung from your loins,
and I will make his kingdom firm.
It is he who shall build a house for my name.
And I will make his royal throne firm forever.
I will be a father to him,
and he shall be a son to me.
Your house and your kingdom shall endure forever before me;
your throne shall stand firm forever.

Homily
Brief moment of silence
Commentator:
Our dear Presider, Rev. Fr. Ronnie Tuazon, we, the graduating students come before you for blessing
with these diplomas, medals and other awards.
We pray that these graduation symbols, we present to you, will serve as a reminder of Gods love for
each one of us and our loved ones, too. Also, may they keep the fire of zeal and loyalty to our beloved
Alma Mater, burning within us, as we give service to God, others and our country as young
professionals.
Presider:
O God, by whose words all things are made holy, pour down
your blessing on these diplomas and medals, symbols of the
many years of efforts and toils on the part of our candidates
for graduation.
Also, we beseech you, graciously bless and help them, your sons
and daughters to put into practice what they have learned for
the service of their fellow men, for your greater honor and
glory through Christ our Lord.

Presider
10
Amen.
By the mystery of this water and wine may we come to share in the
divinity of Christ, who humbled himself to share in our humanity.
Then the Bishop takes the chalice and, holding it slightly raised above the altar, says
inaudibly:
Presider
We pray, O Lord,
that, just as Saint Joseph served with
loving care
your Only Begotten Son, born of the
Virgin Mary
so we may be worthy to minister
with a pure heart at your altar.
Through Christ, our Lord.
The people answer:
Amen.

He bows slightly.
Presider
Therefore, as we celebrate
the memorial of his Death and Resurrection,
we offer you, Lord,
the Bread of life and the Chalice of salvation,
giving thanks that you have held us worthy
to be in your presence and minister to you.
Humbly we pray
that, partaking of the Body and Blood of
Christ,
we may be gathered into one by the Holy
Spirit.
