NTRODUCTON AND OPERATIO

The loudspeoker Amplifier Unit provides loudspeoker facility for rnonpack.

The power source for the unif is derived from the manpock. The operation
required to bring the unit into use is to connect the plug the unit to one of the AUDIO
sockets the rnonpack

CONSTRUCTlON

The omplifier unit is ossembled cost metol case as illustrated Fig. 2.

The cose is complefely woterproof . The moiority of the components of the unit
ore ossembled printed circuit boord vvhich is mounted th the cose. The bock panel
of the cose is removable, and is held position by four screu/s. sealing gasket is fitted
betyeen the bock ponel and the cose.

CRCUIT DESCRPON

The circuit (Fis. l) consists of three tronsistor, transformerless porer

amplifier, designed to feed to 5 mW into 35 ohm lood. The p,ver
consumption of the amplifier at moximum output is approximately 0 mA from 8t

supply.

The input signol is applied to the base of ... transistor TRl, the
capocitor Cl . TRI operates os driver stage for the output transistors TR2 ond
TR3 connected the compIementory symmetry mode, vlhich operotes os follows:
