What is stress?
Stress is tension in the mind and body
Two types of stress:
1. Good stress
Short time and gives
energy
Can help you overcome
difficult situations
Focus and alert

Prolonged and unhealthy
Effects: physical pain,
mental and emotional
burden, depression,
makes illness worse

to cope in a competent manner with

Wellness
People nowadays would usually resort
to instant stress killers such as binge
eating, drinking alcohol, smoking,
sleeping too much or not enough, and
of course drugs. These MAY help but
will eventually affect your health and
wellness in the long run. Stress is part
of life and we have to face stress in a
healthier way.
