PHOTOCHEM offers a simple, rapid and accurate methode to

seperately determine both lipid and water soluble antioxidant
capacities on a single system.

Free radicals are generated within the system that react with
a photosensitiser to emit light. In the presence of free radical
scavengers the intensity of the photochemiluminescence is
attenuated as a function of concentration and the antiradical
properties of the substances can be quantified.
