Utilities specification

Process compressed air at 6/7 bars /85/100 PSI (lit pump & pneumatic valves) : 30 Nm3/h

Electricity

Total installed electric power : 6 kW

Consumed electric power : 2 kW

Available voltages : 400 V / 480 V

Decontamination Cycle
The waste water is discharged to the 1700 litre collecting tank by the gravity. The waste water is fed from
the collecting tank by the redundant lift pump to the 300 litre holding tank of the EDS system. Upon
reaching the holding tank set level, the biological waste water is discharged by gravity to the heating tube.
The heating tube automatically powers up to reach the preset decontamination temperature of
1350C/2750F.
The bio waste water expansion and pressure increase assures steady and precise-temperature during
the decontamination process.
Upon count down of the programmed time, the heating tube and the media is cooled down by water to a
core temperature of 550 C / 1300 F.
The decontaminated media can now safely be discharged, by gravity, to drain.

Bioswaste collecting tank of 300 litters/ 80 USGPM
Cleaning and decontamination of the biowaste unit for maintenance, the machine is decontaminated with
water and caustic at 1350 C / 2570C.
The 1700 L holding tank, pumps and stainless steal pipes will be cleaned by separate steam generator.
The holding tank condensate will be collected in the 300 L collecting tank
PART IN CONTACT WITH PRODUCT SUITABLE FOR CHLORIDE >600C in the concentration mentioned
in the description.
COOLING SYSTEM for the rejection of waste at 40 0C
Air Cooler
The decontamination unit the laboratory is equipped of on air cooler composed of an helicoids motordriven fan.
The Effluent (about 7 litters/ 1,8 USGPM) contained in the heating pipe are cooled by the air blown by the
fan until the temperature of 650C / 1490 F before their reject to the drain.
The outlet temperature is adjustable.
Quench system for the cooling using recycle water.
The decontamination unit of the laboratory is equipped of a water quench cooler allowing the evacuation
of the evacuation of the effluents at a temperature of < 400 C

Water consumption : 100 lph/ 25 USGPM

Duration of the cooling cycle : < 5 minutes

RETENTION TANK for the Effluent Decontamination System Retention tank with flat bottom
Dimensions : L: 1600 mm ; W:1100 mm; h: 200mm
L: 63 ; W:43 ; h: 7,9
This tank made of black PEDH allows the effluents retention in case of leakage.
This volume is equal at the total volume of the machine, 350 litres/ 90 USGPM. A low level sensor is
placed in the low part.
