SoS Ideas is a fast growing Creative Agency from Kolkata,
that brings together many decades of experience, markettested talent and individual creative reputation.
We are firmly rooted in the local culture, yet deliver world-class
ideas that build powerful brands. Our aim is to provide cuttingedge advertising and digital (web & social media) solutions to
clients who are truly passionate about their brands.

SoS Ideas was the most awarded agency at the Advertising Club
Awards 2015, after the industry giants O&M and JWT.

SoS Ideas was founded in early 2014 by one of the most

experienced and accomplished advertising professionals
in the country, Souvik Misra. Partnering him was
renowned designer and Cannes Lions Award winner
Soubhik Payra.

The Founders

Souvik Misra Head at top agencies including Ogilvy, Bates and Contract.
Vast experience in Indian and South East Asian markets
including Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Myanmar & Singapore.
Winner of numerous awards - regional and national. Won
Agency of the Year for Bates 7 years in a row.
Widely recognised as the leading creator of Bengali
advertising in the recent decades.
Created some of the most recalled campaigns in Kolkata in
the last 15 years. Brands include: Seagrams, Pantaloons,
Marico, ITC, Anandabazar Patrika, ABP Ananda, Bisk Farm,
Friends FM, Tata Steel, Vodafone, UNICEF, Seagrams etc.
Been in the jury of top advertising awards, from Abbies to
Ad Club Awards, Srijan Samman Awards.
Also a musician, singer-songwriter. Contributed in National
Award Winning movie Ranjana Ami Aar Ashbo Na, and
many other feature films and music albums.

12-year experience in top agencies including Ogilvy and

Bates and in Indian and regional markets.
Recognised as one of the most versatile Art Directors in the
city. Expertise in 360 Degree media traditional (print,
outdoor, TV, radio, ambient, activation), as well as new-age
(digital, social media).
The only Cannes winning advertising professional in
Kolkata. Many other local and regional awards. Has
created award winning work for Vodafone, Anandabazar
Patrika, Bisk Farm, Marico, ITC, Tata Steel, Pantaloons,
Seagrams, to name a few.
A graduate from Govt College of Art & Craft, he is one of
the top Movie Promotion designers in Kolkata, and a
trained painter and space designer. Has been designing
innovative Durga Puja Pandals for many years.
