The main objective of this method of statement is to provide

guidance for the execution of construction of houses.

monitoring of construction activities for houses based on approved
engineering principles.

7. PROCEDURE

Layout & surface preparation.

Request for surface preparation for ceiling & walls.

7.3After Check out of all electric conduits, back boxes, drain pipes, sanitary
pipes,
doors, windows & ventilators and signed by contractor, MEP
Engineer.
7.4Walls shall be kept damp before applying plaster.
7.5The minimum thickness of the plaster shall be -3/4 i.e. with 1:5
7.6Cutting of concrete if required. It shall be Witness by Engineer
7.7Chipping of concrete surfaces. It shall be Witness by Engineer
7.8Fixing of wire mesh on block masonry and concrete joint or different materials
as
desired/required.
7.9Layout & marking for plaster thickness
7.10
Quality of mixing will be ensured before carryout.
7.11
Material shall be made in such way that it shouldnt last more than
30 minutes.
7.12
Curing of cement plaster for 10 days.
7.13
Activities shall be executed after approval of Engineer.
7.14
Engineer will be requested to visit and approve the quality of
plaster carried out.
