(Linaria vulgaris)

Yellow toadflax is the newest addition

to the North Dakota list of noxious
weeds. Sometimes called common
toadflax and “butter and eggs”, yellow
toadflax resembles the snapdragon.
It is a perennial
reproducing from
seed, as well as
from underground
rootstalk. The Dalmatian toadflax (Linaria genistifolia ssp. Dalmatica)
