The most noble, successful and influential man who once walked on
this planet Earth is none but the last prophet Muhammad (Peace be
upon him) because he has captured the minds and hearts of believers
in such a way that they are ready to give every things including their
precious lives happily for the sake of prophet since he only showed us
the real purpose of life. The believers are ready to sacrifice their lives
for the cause which Muhammad (PBUH) wanted to establish for
success of mankind. Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) showed
the way of worth living in this world and that is why he is dearer to all
.He emphatically said that non should be worshiped other than Allah
(the Creator, sustainer and Master of the Universe), the people should
judge everything on the basis of Glorious Quran (the words of Allah
revealed to him for the guidance of human-being) and Sunnah (the
actions approved by prophet Muhammad) and must know that death
will not bring happiness to those who will reject the faith of Islam and
does not establish the way which prophet has brought from Allah.
Prophet Muhammad was in fact a perfect man in all respects. He was
crystal clear about the lofty principles which one should possess and
taught the mankind what belief is right what is wrong, which way of
earning is legitimate and what is illegitimate, what relation ship is holy
and what is unholy, what food and drink is permitted and what not
(i.e. is good for health), what actions are good and what are bad, what
dress code is for civilized people and what is for uncivilized one. And
people of the world must accept the way of Allah which He has
commanded through him and must lead the life according to
Almighty’s will and must establish the same in society and finally in
the state .The prophet said that in this work he has been trained by
Allah and people should follow him then only their individual lives as
well as their society and state will prosper. And then only they will be
safe and secure and free from all vices.
Thomas Carlyle, struck by this philosophy of life writes "and then also
Islam-that we must submit to God; that our whole strength lies in
resigned submission to Him, whatsoever he does to us, the thing he
sends to us, even if death and worse than death, shall be good, shall
be best; we resign ourselves to God." The same author continues "If
this be Islam, says Goethe, do we not all live in Islam?" Carlyle himself
answers this question of Goethe and says "Yes, all of us that have any
moral life, we all live so. This is yet the highest wisdom that heaven
has revealed to our earth."
