Learning Outcomes:
The intended learning outcomes are that on completion of this module the student should
be able to:
1. Analyse stocks and transactions for Inventory Management and physical
inventory.
2. Describe the procurement and purchasing process for services.
3. Demonstrate the entering invoices process for inventory and non-inventory items.
4. Distinguish between material valuation according to the moving average price
procedure and valuation according to the standard price procedure.

Teaching-learning strategy
Teaching and learning will be via lecture, group discussions, and case study practise.
Besides that, laboratory sessions needed in order to assist students understanding the
procurement processes using ERP application. Students will also be required to do their
own self-study either through guided questions or assignments.
Assessment strategy:
Assessment will be divided into two parts which are individual and group. Individual
assessment will be assessed via their assignments, presentation, and quizzes/test while
group assessment will be assessed via their report.

Synopsis
This subject initially covers the functions of Inventory Management of particular
importance are the different goods movements, their entry, and their effects. Management
of the physical inventory is also covered in this subject. This subject covers the most
important customizing settings for inventory management and physical inventory, and
those for purchasing and message determination.
Besides that, it covers the entire procurement process with its typical steps which are
purchase order, entry of goods receipt, and entry of incoming invoice. It will also focus on
different aspects and become acquainted with additional functions.
This subject also introduces the functions of Invoice Verification. It covers invoice entry
and document parking, as well as automatic invoice creation. You will learn how to enter
taxes and terms of payment, and about invoice blocks, invoice release, and invoice
reduction.
