Centre (JNICC), Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The guest of honour for the opening

Tanzania Cardiac Society, will be re-launched and will holds the First National
Conference, the theme of the conference; Solace of Heart Failure in our
community The Comfort in Disappointment or Misery Tanzania like other
sub Saharan countries is facing an epidemiological paradigm shift from
communicable diseases to non-communicable particularly cardiovascular diseases
being the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in the country.
The theme chosen to highlight the plight heart failure in our community as common
end point pathway of conundrum of cardiovascular diseases the country is facing.
Tanzania Cardiac Society in Collaboration with Pan Africa Society of
Cardiology Heart Failure Task Force (PASCAR-HF Task Force), provide forum

to discuss the means of reducing the socioeconomic impact of cardiovascular

disease in the country.
The Conference will comprise of an outstanding Scientific Exhibition/Program, the
worlds leading specialists with over 200 Pan African participants expected to attend
this premier event. The Tanzania Cardiac Society/ PASCAR-HF Task Force conference
offers an exciting opportunity to our local doctors to share knowledge and skills in
the field of cardiovascular medicine particularly management of heart failure which
would be translated into daily clinical care to reduce the negative impact of
cardiovascular diseases in the country.
The Registration fee per delegate is Tsh. 218,500/= equivalent to USD 100$ which
