1) Check on the Letter from Ship yard / Local authority for MPA approval to

take out crew after vessel Lay-up at site. To be discussed with the yard.
2) Vessel draft restriction in Berth / Jetty. According to the last information
from the Yard, 7-8 meters.
3) Domestic water supply for the vessel. Cost / availability. Included in PDA.
Refer to B3 in the attached. Can discuss further if rate not ideal.
4) Fuel Supply for the vessel. Cost / availability. Will be as per market rate,
can be discussed with the yard.
5) What are the Fenders and Bollards arrangement when the vessel
alongside? Can be discussed with the yard. BLA Batam can also source.
6) Shore power supply (Costing and Kw) to discuss as present cost of SGD 120
day for 60amps power is too high. Can negotiate directly with the yard.
7) Mooring and Vessel movement. In Case of vessel shifting - Why and Who
will bear the cost? Can be discussed with the yard.
8) Shore Pass for the Crew (Long term Passes). Present cost mentioned is
SGD10/day/crew is too high. This is our rate but in USD, we can reduce to
USD 7.5.
9) Watchman provided from ship yard? The Watchman cost of SGD 25/day is
for 24/7 duty (means for 2 watch men?) Rate is per men per day, we need at
least 2 men/day
10) Contingency (Fire / Theft / Flooding / Medical) what is the Ship-yard
response /planning /PIC Can be discussed with the yard.
11) Food supplies for the Crew / Canteen service inside the Ship yard for
Crew access. Can be discussed with the yard.
12) Toilet / Shower for Crew member access in Ship yard. Can be discussed
with the yard.
13) Accessibility for the vessel, In case of double banking? Can be discussed
with the yard.
14) A/C Porta Cabin, Availability in ship yard? what Cost? Can be discussed
with the yard.
15) Benline Local office is how far from Lay-up site? How quickly ben line can
attend vessel in case of emergency on vessel? 40 minutes, in case of
emergency yard will be the first to take action with coordination between
owner, agent and yard.
16) Superintendent long term multi entry VISA can be made available for
frequent ship visits? As discussed with Jackson or can be discussed with
Batam team tomorrow.

17) Lay-up Experience of Benline and Shipyard is required. Need list of

existing customers with similar kind of service provided, especially
highlighting Singapore fag vessels.

18) Check on theft prevention measures available and nearest police station

20) Port / Shipyard PIC to contact in case of emergency. Can be discussed with
the yard.
21) As part of our lay-up checklists, can we try out generators/main engines on
regular basis? Any problems/restrictions/help available? Can be discussed with
the yard.
