On Friday, June 4th, 2010 PNOY Apparel will be hosting Shirt The Kids: New Jersey at
the Nicholas Music Center at Rutgers University. The purpose of the event is to promote
the mission of PNOY Apparel's Shirt The Kids Charity Campaign, which is to help
underprivileged children in the Philippines by sending "Sammy The Sunshine" t-shirts.
This showcase will feature live performances featuring some of the most acclaimed up-
and-coming talent from around the country that will offer a culturally enriching
experience for students, families, and community members. We anticipate hosting a
successful showcase, attracting hundreds of people, but we need your help to achieve our
goal. We would like to request your participation in this event through sponsorship or an
in-kind donation that will be utilized as an event enhancement and programming. This
contribution supports our charity campaign and will be rewarded with a host of benefits
and stellar marketing visibility.
All contributions are tax-deductible, and your sponsorship will be highlighted in the
showcase's program. You can read more about this event in a brief description following
this letter for complete details on Shirt the Kids: New Jersey and the visibility and
recognition opportunities that your sponsorship or in-kind donation may benefit your

With kind regards,
In a world where many struggle with luxuries, there are families and children who
struggle with necessities. The Shirt The Kids Foundation (STK), is a 501 (c.)(3) Non-
profit organization based out of San Diego, CA. The foundation is about “helping put a
shirt on poverty” in the Philippines. STK aspires to foster an environment in order for
children to succeed in poverty-stricken countries. The foundation focuses on providing
the necessities such as food, clothing, medical-aid, and education to the distressed
children of the Philippines, through established Non-Profit Organizations. By educating
and engaging today’s youth, STK seeks to put a dent in poverty.
The Mission
Shirt The Kids Foundation’s mission is to motivate the youth and aspiring leaders to raise
awareness about continuously growing populations of impoverished children in the
Philippines. It is about providing information, encouraging everyone to react, and to
facilitate a helping hand. EDUCATE, MOTIVATE, AND PARTICPATE. The
foundation provides the tools (STK Toolkit) for youth, organizations, and communities to
aide necessitous children by hosting their own Shirt The Kids Showcases, fundraising
events, or an event tailored to them. STK is the people’s charity.
The Vision
Shirt The Kids Foundation’s vision is to sustain proper living conditions in impoverished
countries for children to succeed around the world. The foundation seeks the youth,
organizations, and communities to be our empowerment as they educate, motive, and
participate in our movement and to idolize The STK Foundation as a paradigm of aide to
other countries.
