supervision and support that he gave truly help the progression and smoothness
of the training program. The co-operation is much indeed appreciated.
This training program makes me realize the value of working together as a team
and a new experience in working environment which challenges us every
minute.
Not forget, great appreciation go to the rest of MAGNETI MARELLI staff that
helped me from time to time during my training in the company.
Special thanks goes to Mr. Sreyans Jain head of R&D department, their
encouragement and support helped in completing the training program
successfully.

OBJECTIVE

The main objective of the Industrial Training is to experience and understand


real life situations in industrial organizations and their related environments and
accelerating the learning process of how students knowledge could be used in a
realistic way. In addition to that, industrial training also makes one understand
the formal and informal relationships in an industrial organization so as to
promote favorable human relations and teamwork. Besides, it provides the
exposure to practice and apply the acquired knowledge hands - on in the
working environment. Industrial training also provides a systematic introduction
to the ways of industry and developing talent and attitudes, so that one can
understand how Human Resource Development works.
Moreover, we can gain hands-on experience that is related to the students
majoring so that we can relate to and widen the skills that have been learnt
while being in universities. Industrial training also exposes us to the real career
world and accustoms us to an organizational structure, business operation and
administrative functions.
Furthermore, we can implement what we have learned and learn more
throughout this training. Besides, we can also gain experience to select the
optimal solution in handling a situation. During industrial training we can learn
the accepted safety practices in the industry. We can also develop a sense of
responsibility towards society
In conclusion, there is strong evidence that industrial training is highly
beneficial to students development, and it is highly valued. The students are
well equipped to manage the period of industrial training successfully and
undoubtedly gain useful experience of applying their specialist and technical
skills, as well as developing their personal and communications skills. This
training also helps students to prepare for the work environment and also teach
the ergonomics of organizations in the real world.

The objectives of industrial training can be listed as follows:-

Undergraduates have an opportunity to expose themselves in workings


environment of their field of profession respectively.
For obtaining workings experience in the industry which is relating to
their field of current study.
Using knowledge which is obtained from industrial training for their
study after finishing training and continuing study at universities
afterwards.
Training them to be capable in communication and interaction between
workers and superior.
Training them to be able to prepare a technical report which is related to
industrial training they do.
Cultivating them to work as a team.
Learning to professional behavior respectively.
The industrial training has some scope also, which can be listed as follows: Observing the whole operation of this industry.
Doing operations work that is involved in unit production by either using
machine or tool.
Work that involving installment and fabrication of tool.
Visual inspection and quality control on the final product.
Repairing any damaged tool if it still can use, or buying a new tool to
replace it.
Discussion and meeting with superior.

COMPANY PROFILE

Amar Group was established in 1987 with the aim of participating in and catalysing the
modernisation of the Indian automotive components industry. Amar Group primarily deals
in supplying engineering and manufacturing services like:

Prototyping

CAM Designing

Precision manufacturing of sheet metal stamping

Sheet metal pressing services

The Amar Group, with its 4 manufacturing plants, three engineering centres and a wholly
owned trading house catering to domestic market, is rapidly expanding its business with
vehicle manufacturers and Tier I suppliers in the Indian automotive industry. Its current OE
customers include Munjal Auto Industries Ltd., Satyam Auto Component Ltd., Majestic Auto
Ltd., F.C.C. Rico, AG Industry, Rockman Industries Ltd., Munjal Auto Ltd., Sigma
Vibracoustic India Pvt. Ltd. (SVIL), Highway Industries Ltd.
The group has a large base of engineers doing design work for global automotive customers.
It is using this base to continuously expand into new product and service areas, at present our
turnover is 150 crore (INR). Our target and net financial year(2013/2014) is 200 crore (INR)
