During my time as an OJT in DXCs catering inc. I was able to learn more on how
to deal with other people be it my co-workers, superiors or customers though
dealing with negativity is quite hard for me since I never experienced failure
within myself especially if I know what am I doing, at work I realized that even
you are a skilled individual mistakes will always be inevitable because it will
remind you that you are not perfect, that you are just human and that there is
always a room for improvement.
Also here I realized that knowledge alone will not take you anywhere. What made
me realize this fact was the staff of this establishment, most of them are
undergrads yet they are good on what they do, they can be at par or even better

than my mentors in school and they achieved such skills because of their
courage to work and experiences gained by doing so.
As days passed and exhaustion gets the best of me due to everyday work and
lack of sleep I remembered the times we had functions in school and compared it
to what Im experiencing in my OJT, what I experienced in school was nothing
compared to real world and yet I see some of my classmates complaining and
giving up just because of that and most of them are slackers I just hope they
learn their lessons once they taste the hardships of reality.
Generally During my time at DXCs, I developed not only my personality but also
my HRM skills which I will forever carry and help me get through whatever thing
future plans to give me ( hopefully its within my expertise) at least once I
graduated from Easter College I can say Im more than ready to face the world.
