Dear all,
I want to know whether can we do the weld overly(ss 316L) of weld joint after the heat treatment of
the claded dish end( Sa 516 gr 70 dish . 50 thk)?
Is it the requirement of the code to have heat treatment only after weldoverlay of weld joint in
dishend?

..does this mean that providing a preheat ..a weld overlay can be provided after PWHT to the CS part
?
question 2= Assume weld overlay to be applied after PWHT , Is the Soaking time function of CS
thickness alone or ( carbone steel plus Weld overlay thicknesses) ?
