Inquiry Question: What is causing Donald Trumps rise to political stardom?

Proposed Thesis: Donald Trumps profound rise to political stardom has lead many to attempt to
uncover the reasoning.

Comment [B2]: Perhaps try to make a more concrete

and arguable thesis statement, this seems like a good idea
but I would focus on a specific scope.

This article presents the facts on trump and his political stance on most political issues
within the United States. It does this by compiling his different statements and political values
thus compiling his perspective on these issues. This allows for voters to get a glimpse of his
political ideals. It discusses that Trump is a Christian pro-life candidate. His political campaign is
founded upon his motto Make America Great Again, Trump has lived behind this motto his
entire campaign. This slogan is used to rally his support bases to promote a better America. This
is a primary reason for Donald Trumps success within the polls because of the belief of many
people that America has been dethroned as the greatest country in the World.

seems to be a large space.

Micheal Scherer uses the real life experience and interactions with Trump in order to
identify his tactics and political values. Some of the major evidence within the article are in the
Scherer recollection of a Trump rally and of an interview he had with Trump as a perspective

Comment [B9]: Big gap

Three Theories of Donald Trump Rise is suggesting that there are three possibilities
for the rise of Trump within the 2016 presidential race. Silvers suggest that Trumps rise comes
due to a political revolt in American citizens, a nationwide transition into republican ideals, or
that his major popularity comes from the media bubble constantly surrounding him. By limiting

Comment [B14]: big gap

This article discusses the GOP presidential field of the 2011 election. Republican
Presidential Field: The Known and The Unknown shows the same increase that has been
reflected in the 2016 GOP presidential race with Donald Trumps voters. The article shows
Donald Trumps increase from 1 percent to 16 percent of the vote within the matter of one month.
The obscure thing about this is that Trump never officially declared himself for president in the
2012 election. This leads to the idea that Trump strategically chooses 2016 to run for the
presidency because of the increasingly extreme beliefs and distrust of Americans of political
leaders, including Barack Obama.
