B. Vitamine
D. The use of intuition
D. Volume, weight, price
D. 10
B. A valid measurement is reliable but not definitely valid

E.2. Answer it shortly!

1. Things that can be measured from:
a. Tea are tannin levels, pollen levels and levels of VRS (Volatile Reduce
Substances)
b. Cooking oil are the fat content, acid value and peroxide value
c. Meat are the protein content and the level of violence
2. The basic differences measurement scales are:
o Nominal: the scale does not show the level, absolute differences, qualitative
o Ordinal: a scale which shows the levels and use scores
o Interval: zero point scale that has not absolute, but there is a range/distance
between data
o Ratio: zero point scale that has a real and shows the real amount of a var.
o Couple: a scale that determines the relative importance, using a grading scale

4. How to assess whether or not a measuring instrument:
o The validity of the precision and accuracy of a measuring instrument in doing
measuring function. A scale or measuring instrument can be said to have high
validity if such instrument has been running a measuring function, or provide
measurement results that correspond to those measurements.
a. Validity of the content is calculated by testing the validity of the content of
measuring instruments with rational analysis
b. Construct validity is the ability of a measuring instrument to measure
understanding of a concept that is measured
c. Validity criteria consisted of concurrent validity and the validity of the
forecast. Concurrent validity of an instrument to measure the ability of certain

symptoms in the present. The validity of the forecast is the ability of an

instrument to predict exactly what happens in the future
o Reliability
a. Inter Observer or Inter Rater Reliability is used to assess how much the
gauge gives the consistent results on the measurement of the same object
b. Re-test reliability test is used to assess the consistency of measurements in
different time
c. Parallel forms reliability is used to assess the consistency of results from two
types of measuring devices containing the same material and measuring the
same things
d. Internal consistency reliability was used to assess the internal consistency of
questions in a measuring instrument
o Practicality; a measuring instrument rated practical when saving, easy to use and
understandable.
5. I agree with it, because the results are valid and the results obtained with the
journals or counted by the man with the correct data, then the results are reliable,
otherwise if the results used to do with no underlying libraries or untested firmly,
then the test results is not valid and cant be relied.
CHAPTER 5
F.1. Choose the right answer!
1. B. The alternative is a component that will be selected taking into account the
criteria provided
2. C. Both are true
3. A. Bayes, exponential comparison method and the Composite Performance Index
4. B. Exponential comparison method
