Creating Bills
Can I apply a discount to an invoice?
You cannot add a line item to a bill which is a discount amount. You could create a credit on a bill
after it has been generated.
When creating a bill, can I vary the number of line items within
the billing batch?
No. All bills within a billing batch have the same number of line items.
Can the bill be sent to multiple email addresses for the same
account?
Bills will be sent to the primary email address for the account holder. However, the account
holder could forward that bill on to someone else to pay the full amount or a remainder if partial
payments are allowed.
Can I create a bill with a due date of today but not actually
process the transaction until a future date?
On June 1, this type of functionality will not be available, but we are looking at use cases like
these to consider new functionality.

Yes. A bill can be paid by anyone who has the bill email.

We built the first release of PowerPay to solve organizational level needs. As such, only a single
bank account at the organization is allowed. We do know that some organizations team have
their own bank accounts and we are looking at how to accommodate this scenario.

What processing gateways can I use with Sport Ngin
PowerPay?
Because of the tight integration with our platform and that most of our customers use the Sport
Ngin processing gateway, it is currently limited to that. We are looking at other options in the
future.

Fees
Can a penalty be added to a bill once it is past due?
Today there isnt a way to automatically add late fees. However, you could send a second bill for
the penalty amount that you choose.

How are permissions managed in PowerPay?
Permissions for PowerPay are managed much the same way they are for the rest of the platform.
Permissions are handed out individually to accounts on the Sport Ngin platform.

Where is credit card information stored?
Credit card information is never stored within an organization or within the Sport Ngin platform.
Credit card numbers are only used to process the payment and then the processor gives us a
token which cannot be turned back into the credit card number for future requests.

On June 1, each will have their own view for balances. We do plan to have a consolidated view of
an entire account coming soon.

Currently, when filtering billing batches, it filters them by name. So if you named each of your
batches by team name then you would be able to see the balances for all of those batches.

Do I manually have to create groups for teams?
No when athletes are rostered on teams, those athletes are automatically available to bill via their
team.

Is PowerPay available within the Sport Ngin Mobile app?
On June 1st, creating payments will only be available via the PowerPay desktop module.
However, payments can be done via a responsive mobile page.
