There is the atma (the real self) just before birth the manas
is attached and then given a body at birth. The atma
observes only. The mana is the horses of the chariot (the
body).
Death is the process of the atma and the manas separating
from the body. This process takes time. The bodys
destruction is seen from the 22nd dreshkana of the birth chart
(dreshkana rising in the 8th hs. Firey sign burnt, watery decay
in water, earth sign buried.)
After death the mana is still attached to the atma.
The punya chart (chart made from time of death and
location) shows the merit at death and where one goes. It
shows what karma one has done in the life.
The planets manipulate the tattvas. The tattvas decide from
where we come and they decide where we go.
Of Sun Moon in rasi chart, which is stronger. Determine
dreshkana of this planet (what sign does it go to in d3)
Shows where the person comes from What the status of
the lord in the rasi chart is shown the status of the soul in
that loka.
Akasha Higher Lokas (heaven, gods, immortals)
Jala Pitri Loka (demigods, manes)
Agni Bhu Loka (earth plane)
Vayu Tala Loka (under or nether worlds, 7 of them)
Prithvi Narka (hell)
The eldest son is not to go out anywhere for 12 days and the
karma is completed on the 13th day.
Then the soul continues what it was doing and then goes to
whatever level of hell to suffer in the hands of yama as to
the shad ripu (weakness that becomes sin) one has done.
Papa karma is that which is done to harm another (8 th house)
Shad ripu is weakness of one harming one self. (6 th house)

murdering someone else is papa karma.
If they are done unconsciously they normally are forgiven
(Jupiter aspects also for them to be forgiven). If they are
conscious they are not forgiven.
Shad Ripu - The six sources of weakness can be attributed to
affliction to one of the pancha tattvas (five primordial
elements) and thus shall show the kind of diseases one
would suffer with.
