Rules

- The World Cup begins on June 11, your picks must be handed in or emailed to robcrupi@gmail.com no
later than June 10 Midnight with CASH everyone entered will receive a spreadsheet with everyone’s picks.
- Pool costs 20 Dollars to enter; you may enter as many times as you wish. (There will be lots of people
entering this pool)Depending on the number of people entered (May be winner take all or % of 1st 2nd and
3rd)
- Pick the top 2 teams who you think will advance from each group, and place them in order of 1st and 2nd
in the corresponding bracket below the groupings.
- Place the teams on the bracket in which you have picked them For example, If you pick France to finish
1st in Group A then you place them on the bracket under 1st Group A.
- Picks cannot be changed after June 10 Midnight

Point System
There will be 1 Point awarded for each correct team picked through Round Robin, 1 Bonus point if group
winners are picked in order 1st and 2nd correctly. There will be 4 points awarded to each team picked that
advances to the quarterfinals. There will be 6 points for Semi, 8 points for final, and Finally 15 points if
you pick the correct team to win the World Cup.

A Maximum number of 111 points can be earned throughout the tournament. The person with the most
points wins the pool.

Tie-Breaker Procedure Very Important

-You must pick the total amount of goals your winning team gets throughout
the tournament.
-Tie-Breaker happens only if 2 or more people are tied after the final game.

Scenario #1: If someone picks Germany to win and 10 goals, and another person picks Germany 9 goals
and Germany scores 8 and they win. The the person who picked 9 wins the Tie-breaker.

Scenario #2- If 4 people are tied. Guy 1 has Brazil 7, Guy 2 has Germany 8, Guy 3 has italy 9, Guy 4 has
Brazil 6. And none of those teams win, It will go down to whoever had the closest number of goals for their
team picked.

-Scenario #3- If 3 people left and guy 1 has Italy 7, Guy 2 Brazil 11, Guy 3 Germany 8. If Brazil wins it all
and everyone is tied the guy who takes Brazil wins the pool, in this case they're be no tie-breaker rule. This
is important because everyone would have the same points, but Guy 2 picked the correct team to win.

- Scenario #4- If 4 people left and guy 1 has Italy 7, Guy 2 Brazil 11, Guy 3 Germany 8, Guy 4 has brazil
10, If Brazil wins it all, the tie-breaker only goes to guy 2 or guy 4 based on Brazil #of Goals because they
have the winner correct

- Scenario #5- If a game goes to a shootout, tied 2-2 and a team wins in shootout; the final result would be
3-2 so the goal is added to their final tally
-(The Tie-breaker is not used only if the remaining people left to win agree on splitting the prize. they
would have to let me know prior to the final)
