It is universally acknowledged that people need money, in order to live and survive.
Some of us agree that money is a good friend when one knows how to treat. Nevertheless it
must be said that money is not a bad thing. So what is money? Money is nothing but only a
medium in trade. Money is the driving force in many peoples lives. Hence I totally disagree that
money is the root of the evil. Money itself is not an evil, is it is harmless. In fact, evil comes from
money users that is, we human beings.
First of all, some people have clear thoughts about life and morals, for this reason it is as
clear as water what money is mainly for. Again, money is an object, a medium in trade and it is
harmless. Some people who knows the value of life, with principles and good behavior look at
money as a necessity and use it for good reasons such as education, health, in-future activities
and emergencies. However, many people do not realize that they enslaved by money. It is
labeled an evil because of human thoughts and actions. They are willing to commit crimes
mentioned because of their greed. They desire wealth, status and power. Greed in mankind
leads them to crimes, but not money.
I totally disagree that money is the root of evil because with money people can do a lot
of charity. This kind of people they will spend their money to help those in needs. They believe
their money is valuable and meaningful who earns less. So, they will spend their money to buy
books for the unfortunate kids. Sometimes they spend their money to pay students fee in the
universities. Some of them also choose families and support them economically especially to
buy foods for the poor people. They believe and practice what they have they will share. This
act of people leads to peaceful and happiness.
I totally disagree that money is the root of evil. It is the love of money that responsible for
all of evil. In fact, money can be used for good too. Money if channeled to finance important
research work, will help to find solutions to some of the problems we face today such as
incurable disease. Money can be used to help those who cannot help themselves by providing
special care for mental or physical disabilities, for instance helping to feed victims of floods and
war.
In conclusion, we all need money for everything. Nonetheless, when money controls us,
our life gets out of control, it rules of lives. I would say money is a good servant. It can be used
for good but if one is controlled by it, then only evil will result. I totally disagree that money is
the root of evil it is humans acts and actions that lead to evil.
