used for the last three years, one still does not work totally and the

A portable clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter is the ideal solution for this
measuring task. It can be installed without process interruption and
without any additional insert in pipe. Mounting the transducers takes
30 minutes if the measuring point is not prepared, and only 5-10 min
when it is. Moving away from electromagnetic interferences and
pump results in additional accuracy of measurement. Only two pairs
of transducers are needed to cover practically the whole range of
pipe diameters. The possibility of storing the measuring results
allows the comparison with the permanent meters and makes it
possible to judge of the functionality of the latter. The condition of
the pipe's inner surface at a measuring point can be evaluated by
controlling such parameters as the amplitude, quality and transit
time of the signal from time to time.
