Never Forget

Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them
up in the training and instruction of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4
I love the story of Nehemiah rebuilding the Jerusalem wall.
There are so many parallels in your life as Nehemiah was
seeking the Lord for His will and way for how to rebuild the
wall of Jerusalem just like the walls of our marriages. Nehemiah
wept for many days, mourned, fasted and prayed a very
powerful prayer to God repenting and asking favor to rebuild
the Jerusalem wall. He then started the large project.
Also our enemies said, Before they know it or see us, we will be
right there among them and will kill them and put an end to the
work. Then the Jews who lived near them came and told us ten
times over, Wherever you turn, they will attack us. Therefore
I stationed some of the people behind the lowest points of the
wall at the exposed places, posting them by families, with their
swords, spears and bows, Dont be afraid of them. Remember
the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers,
your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.
When our enemies heard that we were aware of their plot and
that God had frustrated it, we all returned to the wall, each to
his own work. Nehemiah 4:11-15
Nehemiah reminds me of the male standers who would do
anything to have their marriage rebuilt on the solid foundation
of our Lord Jesus Christ. We want to honor all fathers around
the world in June who are being the fathers that they
need to be to their children regardless of your marriage
circumstances at this moment. Children need both parents in
their lives to love them. Yes, one spouse may be living in sin,
but in most circumstances, the parent who has left needs to love,
support, talk and interact regularly with the children. It is very
important. We see the results of the ones who have left them
without any healthy communication or relationships. Please
pray for both parents to be involved in your childrens lives. The
longer they dont, the harder it is to get back into the childrens
lives. That is Gods best.
He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and

the hearts of the children to their

fathers; or else I will come and
strike the land with a curse.
Malachi 4:6
The enemy is out to steal, kill and
destroy all marriages around the
world, but the Lord has given us
spiritual weapons that have divine
power to demolish strongholds in
our lives, but the Lord came that
we may have and enjoy life, and
have it in abundance to the full,
till it overflows. (John 10:10 AMP) Never give up on God!
I pray that every stander who is a father knows how many men
and women admire and respect you for all that you are doing
and sacrificing to do Gods perfect will in praying, growing
spiritually and waiting for the Lord to rebuild your marriage.
Nothing is too hard for God. In Nehemiah Chapter 4, Nehemiah
faced the enemy who was out to stop them from rebuilding the
Jerusalem wall. The enemy is doing the same to you, but God
will block, frustrate or stop the enemy coming against you over
and over again. The Jerusalem wall was completed in 52 days!
Never doubt the power of God.
Dads, seek the Lord and grow closer to Him every day. Be ready
for your suddenly hearing from your wife wanting to work
on restoring your marriage. Now ask the Lord what you are to
do to help your children go through this devastating storm in
their young lives, regardless of their age. Your Heavenly Father
will guide your steps and give you many different ideas to
show your wife that you are becoming the spiritual leader in
your home starting with your children. Then the Lord will touch
and transform your wifes heart at Gods perfect timing. Happy
Fathers Day!
In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their
own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. Ephesians

Rejoice On The Road

As I write this we are sitting on the plane on our way

back from Rejoice Dallas. We just experienced a blessed
weekend. We heard from many what an encouragement it
was to them, but it feels like we are the ones who received
the encouragement and blessings.
We had over 160 people from 10 different states and
Canada join us for Rejoice on The Road Dallas -Theres
Hope.

It was not uncommon to glance around the room and find

groups of people gathered in spontaneous prayer. Tears
of healing fell. Tears of joy fell. The Lord was worshipped.

We had many couples join us who had restored marriages.

We had one woman join us who will be celebrating her 35th
wedding anniversary in a couple of days..the day her
husband told her he will be moving home. We had standers
join us who have been standing for just days, standers
who have been standing for years, standers who were
once prodigals, and one mother-in-law was there with her
daughter-in-law. We saw a little sampling of everything.
Two restored couples, Greg and Missy and Luz and Fabian
joined us and shared their testimony as well as participated
in a Q & A panel. The couples talked and prayed with
standers throughout the conference. Many standers were
blessed and encouraged.

Taking a team to another city to put on a conference is an

act of faith. We went into this weekend trusting the Lord
would provide the exact people He wanted sitting on those
seats. We went into this weekend trusting the Lord would
heal the wounds that are so fresh for many people.

We went into this weekend trusting the Lord would refresh a weary
man or woman who feels they cant hold on another day. Our faithful
God showed up in a big way.
We love putting a face with a name. We love being able to hug each
and every person who takes the time and resources to attend a
conference. My mom stayed until the last person who wanted to speak
and pray with her personally had that opportunity. Dallas blessed us!!
We are looking forward to July 5 when we head to Rejoice on the Road
Ohio! If it is anything like Dallas, we will all walk away feeling like we
had the chance to experience a little taste of Heaven on earth.

Words cant express the beauty

of Gods annointing on everyone that was
facilitating the conference. I was so blessed
and filled spiritually. People with restored
marriages do not turn away form this
ministry, stay with it for encouragement even
after your mate comes home!

Fathers Day

Of all the people in the world, the group of people I appreciate most are those we call standers. These are men
and women who, although forsaken by a spouse, have set their eyes firmly on Jesus and are trusting God to
overcome every obstacle and to restore their marriage. If you are looking for people of faith at a church, look
for standers.
Being a man, I have often asked myself if Charlyne had been the prodigal in our family, would I have had the
faith to stand? I cannot answer that question, but I do know that female prodigals are blessed by God if they
have a standing husband.
Fathers Day will be a tough day for standing men. At church when fathers are recognized, some standing man
might feel like a failure. I sense that at times like this God will have His hand on the shoulder of every standing
man. It takes far more guts for a man to be a stander than to be in church on Sundays and leading a secret life
of sin during the week.
Ladies, on Fathers Day please pray for every male stander. They are living out the kind of Christian life that
you are praying for your own husband to attain. Please pray especially for dads who will have no contact with
their kids today, either because of a court order or the hard heart of an absent spouse. Even where there is no
contact on Fathers Day, may Jesus assure each child of how much their absent dad loves them.
Please pray also that on Fathers Day prodigals eyes might be opened, in both men and women, to Gods truth
about marriage. May prodigals start home because of watching others celebrate Fathers Day.
