INTRODUCTION

Computer Systems Servicing (CSS) NC II and Electronic Products Assembly and Servicing
(EPAS) NC II are qualifications under the sector of ELECTRONICS. Every skill qualification is clustered
into 3 competencies. These are the BASIC, the COMMON and the CORE competencies.
A basic and common competency of each sector is the same. It differs in core competencies
which focus on the specific set of skills of that qualification. This program, Resistor Color Coding, will
help teachers in facilitating the basic competencies under the ELECTRONICS sector. Its interactive
environment and real time response to the commands will enable the students to have a real time
assessment on their inputs. It was developed using MS Excel with Visual Basic integration. It comes with
a password so it cannot be easily modified.
Developers are also teachers of the electronics sectors and they are open to any suggestions or
modifications from anyone as long as it can be justified.
