Prompt: what if the school were a corrupt economy? Who plays what role, why would it work out this
way?
countries/societies with corruption will not be able to have a flourishing economy, let alone
sustain it
Happening because of regimes trying to extract all the wealth provided by the community,
citizens, and taxpayers
o Misusing power, abusing their privileges

Because of the bad outlook caused by the corruption in the society and the weak private sectors,
outside communications will go down.
o Its not appealing to trade/work with countries/societies with economic problems - just
not something to consider
Not conductive for business

High unemployment tends to cause a great deal of pain and suffering

amongst the general population.

[160516]
Regimes achieving this wealth through unfair (e.g. illegal, dishonest, etc.) ways
o Laws from outside communities may not fit with their disrupted economy
Physically, infant mortality rates in these corrupted countries are three times higher than
the average, developed, and more controlled countries
Basically, corruption causes the entire thing to suffer
o Thing as in people, wealth, economy, health and mentality, life in the whole world, social
media bias and speculation, stigmas
Average income of corrupted countries = of countries with low corruption
Literacy rate 25% lower than more controlled environments
Corruption is almost impossible to eliminate
Why did this start
[160517]
There are Kings and pawns
o Kings are chosen to be responsible for the power in the school by the previous kings
o

Once a king, the ex-pawns can organize events and ultimately take complete control of
the pawns to gather more cards from other colonies
This lead to the school being slowly separated into different groups, which would
then split to become even smaller so eventually, there are just a whole bunch of
kings, sub-kings, and low class kings...etc.
The pawns are hired by the kings to take these cards from the other colonies.
They use valid concepts such as trading and truces to gather more cards and gain
wealth
There are dark colonies and mundane colonies: dark ones collect these cards
using fraud and embezzlement, dishonest ways to get more of these cards
These two categories of colonies are lead by different kings, with sub-kings and
low class kings underneath them
CARDS
These cards are basically bills
The more cards and pawns the kings have, the more of a right they have to
call themselves just King and more power in the school facility
There is a specific number of cards created to cycle through the school,
but because of the dark colonies, the values of the cards have gone down
and more of these copies will have to be created because of more
colonies ignorantly wanting more
Wanting more, creating more, but more is still less than more
Who were the first kings, anyway?
If there were no kings to begin with, how did this entire economy start?

Assume this: a group of normal students decided to set up a new system of dictatorship
(almost) because the previous system of following the rules became boring and tedious.
The teachers named them to be the student council but over time, things got out of hand
and they were titled kings

Creation of mundane colonies to have something to compare the dark ones to

Perspectives:
Pawn in the dark colonies - Andee
Pawn in the mundane colonies - Seph
King of the dark colonies - Vix
Title: Capture the Flag [final copy]
Seph clasped his hand over his mouth, the breath almost escaping from his lungs which wouldve created
a noise. He was tasked to bring the papers to the allies on the other side of the campus and in order to get
there, he had to cross the unmonitored hallway. It was rumoured that only lucky people could get across it
without being stopped.
He wasnt having such a lucky day, then.
The two people in the perpendicular corridor were discussing something very quietly in the safety of the
dim lighting.
