Enders Game: Humans

The main difference that separates human beings from other species living on this planet is
not on the biological structure, but on the enhanced ability to speak, communicate, or function with an
elaborate brain. In the movie, Enders Game, the issue of what being human means is constantly
brought up. Ender, like the rest of the humans, is an invertebrate, meaning that his bones are on the
inside, then covered by a layer of fat, muscles, skin, and water, with its largest quantity in blood.
However, many other animals, such as birds and mammals, include these characteristics in their body.
One may say that the antagonist of the movie, Formics, as well as insects and the like, are
completely different from the humans, so why isnt the greatest line of difference because of the
biology? This isnt exactly a variance, because taking a few steps back and putting aside the visual
difference, any individual would understand why it is a similarity. Of course, there are diverse limbs
and such, but every single organism develops these parts in order to adapt and survive in their
environment. Ultimately, the biological and physical differences of all living animations should be
considered similarities, no matter how much more complicated humans may be than the other kinds.
Thus, the deeper and more sophisticated theories generated by famous thinkers of the time, outshine
the biotic reasoning. Human beings, are not only given the gift of communication and thought, but are
also social creatures, individualistic, and rapidly evolving persons. This heavily developed species of
detailed functioning beings brings upon new ideas, and connect with each other in its own society and
time. Unlike the other organisms, humans are gifted with the ability of using words and the beauty of
speech, and the diversity continues even further as different languages and cultures thrive. These
soulful individuals make use of wheels, invent new creative utensils like ball-point pens, and
accomplish countless tasks, as well as developing efficient technologies that the humans use, such as
the zero-gravity training arenas. But out of all these psychological traits, the way of speech and
communication is the greatest factor. To the typical human ears, the sound of a voice is the pinnacle
of understanding, and with that, people learn and limitless great things can be achieved. Without the
fluent way of which the humans talk, the heightened skills and knowledge may not be as easily
acquired, perhaps not at all. Without the expression through words and language, physical tasks may
not even be conquered to its degree as of now; proving that communication is the key to life. It may
seem odd, that the difference comes from such a deep and sophisticated way of thinking, but the
natural forms of active life are not different at all, as every organism have the same goal of surviving
and thriving. In the end, the humans differed greatly from the Formics, for the reason that the
eloquent and powerful force of words overpower anything else.
