Professional Experience:1. Senior Construction Engineer (Mechanical)
20th August, 2010 to till date
B.A.K. Consulting Engineers Peshawar Pakistan.
Presently I am working as Senior Construction Engineer (Mechanical) on high Head
Hydropower Complex Projects on ALLAI KHWAR 121 Mw at ALLAI, District Batagram
and Duber Khwar 130 Mw at DUBER, District Kohistan, Khyber Pakhtoon Khwa.
Both the projects consist of two Pelton Type Turbines .Allai Khwar project has 2.7 Km
steel lined pressure tunnel with 687 meter head .Ms DONG FONG ELECTRIC
COMPANY of China is the main contractor for construction supply and design for civil
and hydraulic steel works. More than 2 km of the pressure tunnel is lined with 16 to 60
mm steel armor pinstock. This project has been commissioned on April 20 th 2012 and
working on full capacity. How ever some minor jobs of rectifications are still in progress.
DUBER KHWAR 130 M.W Project at District Kohistan is also consisting of two pelton type

Turbines .
Ms SINOHYDRO CORPORATION of China is the main contractor ,
responsible for design, construction, supply and testing commissioning of civil and
hydraulic part of the project . ANDRITZ Hydro is the main contractor responsible for
supply, erection and testing /commissioning of the Turbines of both the projects. This
project is also almost complete. After testing commissioning of all the hydraulic gates and
water way, the Mechanical has been also completed. Commercial run of both the
turbines is expected any time this year. I was responsible for supervision of installation for
quality control, preparation of inspection protocols for installation of hydraulic structures
including outlet gates, spillway gates, intake gates, flushing gates, steel lining, stop log
gates, trash racks mono rail hoists, de watering pumps Etc . I was also responsible to
review testing protocols for dry and wet commissioning of the hydraulic
components/structure and machines .I got approved method statement for dry testing
and load testing/wet commissioning of gates and machines ( Rack cleaning machines and
Gantry cranes ) from Project Manager and monitored the testing/commissioning .
2. Manager Technical, Hafeez Iqbal Oil & Ghee Industries
(P V T) Ltd Hattar Haripur.
November 2, 2009 to August 19,2010
I worked as Manager Technical with Mujahid Oil & Ghee Mills at Hattar for about 10 months. I
was responsible for Technical advice on Mechanical issues. I was also In charge of printing
shop and tin fabrication shop .In addition to above I worked as Management
Representative (M.R) to deal I.S.O .documentation and implement in full spirit their
standards.

July, 2006 to December 2006.
My last position in Pak American Fertilizers was Senior Engineer (Mechanical) and worked as
in charge ware house. I was responsible to keep up to date the Plant spares level wit
Maximum/Minimum level fixed mutually by the concerned user department head and the
undersigned with in the approved budget .Therefore it was utmost necessary to indent
limited quantity, to meet the factory requirement and meet the approved budget. It was
also necessary to indent the requirement with proper specifications to avoid confusion
during commercial evaluation . Our net work was computerized and I.S.O.9001-2000
and I.S.O.14001 certified. Therefore it was essential to maintain the record up to date
and present for audit as and when asked every year to Government, commercial and
I.S.O auditors
4. Pak American Fertilizers Ltd Iskanderabad, (a unit of N .F.C)
Senior Manager (Commercial )
September 8, 1999 to July 2006.
I joined Pak American Fertilizers ltd on transfer from Hazara Phosphate Fertilizers ltd. I
worked as Manager Field maintenance and Manager Ware house. I worked as Senior
Manager (Commercial) and assisted General Manager (commercial) inviting quotations for

procurement of Factory spares, disposal of scraps selling of surplus Ammonia .I also

assisted G.M in preparation of contract documents , bid evaluation documents and
commercial evaluation statements.
5. Senior Manager Material and
Senior pipeline Engineer(Transmission)
Sui Northern Gas Pipelines
August 6, 1995 to September 7, 1999.
I Joined Sui Northern Gas Pipelines ltd as Senior Pipeline Engineer on deputation and
reported at Wah station. I was responsible to look after the High pressure Transmission
Pipeline of Sui Northern Gas pipe line from Jhelum down stream to Islamabad and Wah. I
also worked as consultant to Director General (Gas) Islamabad on Prime Ministers
directives regarding extension of gas facilities to different towns and villages of Pakistan.
6. Manage (Mechanical) Pak American Fertilizers Ltd
Iskanderabad / Dawood kheel (a unit of N.F.C.).
September 18, 1993 to August 5, 19995
I worked field Maintenance Manager Powerhouse and plant Utilities. There were 03 Boilers
producing superheated steam for operation the two steam turbines 1.8 mw capacity
each. Steam is also used in Ammonia and Urea plants for production urea and ammonia.
Two 0f the boilers , each 75 Tons were designed to work on coal which were converted on
Furnace oil and natural gas .Boiler No 3 was 80 Tons Mitsui Japan which was designed to
work on Furnace oil and natural gas. There were two condensers, cooling Tower and
piping network , different types of pumps and many other related installations . I was
responsible for maintenance of these installation, indenting spares for these
equipments ,inspection on receiving he indented spares , preparing maintenance
schedule.
7. Deputy Manager (Mechanical)
Hazara Phosphate Fertilizers( p.v.t)Ltd
Haripur (a unit of N.F.C.)
March 24,1987 to September 17 ,1993 .
I joined H.P.F, L as site Engineer at the time of start of its construction and worked till
completion and its smooth operation. I supervised installation of all equipments of the
plant Included pulverizes, mixer, balling drum different types of pumps, acid pipe lines
EST. I had also a special assignment of expediting the work orders in Heavy Mechanical
Complex.
8. February 14, 1975 to March 22,1987
Executive Engineer (Mechanical)
Pakistan Steel Mills Karachi.
I joined Pakistan Steel Mills Karachi as Graduate Engineer and worked for about 6 months in
the Design Bureau of Pakistan Steel Mills before leaving for training. I got opportunity of
training in Aria Maher Steel Plant Iran for a period of 18 months. Major part of training
was scheduled as practical in plant training. On return from training abroad, erection of
Steel Mills was in full swing. I was appointed as site in charge for erection of sewerage

and ventilation network of Raw Material Preparation Plant (R.M.P.P) . At later stage, before
completion the Mills, installation of some of the main heavy equipments were also handed
over to us. I have installed a hug quantity of heavy equipments of different types, pipe
lines, air handling units, rubber conveyor belts used for carrying crushed Sinters, chain
scraper belts and many others departmentally with 300 men power from labor contractor.
After completion of installation and successfully commissioning of the plant, I was re
designated as Assistant Superintendent (Energetic) of R.M.P.P. My last position was
Executive Engineer in Pakistan Steel Mills. During working in Pakistan Mills, I attended a
number of work shops, seminars, refresher courses. I have obtained many appreciation
certificates with cash recognizing my best performance and teamwork.
