I feel obliged to ace as gratitude to all who have made valuable contribution to the project
throughout. I wish to express our profound thanks to all those who have encouraged us in
doing this project.
I would like to thank my faculty advisor VADHIRAJ N R for his guidance and helpful

Abstract:
The principle objective is to gain an insight into the problems involved in valuation of
residential building (G+1) and to overcome them and rent fixation of residential building
(G+1). Its an opportunity to put into practice the engineering knowledge which has gained
through our curriculum.
The engineer has to keep in mind the municipal conditions, building bye laws, environment,
financial capacity, water supply, sewerage arrangement, provisions for future, ventilation
etc.,.
Processes involved like studying various types as well as case study and estimating their cost
which enables us to have a clear idea on the overall cost of construction. It helps in fixation
of rent of residential building (G+1).
