The following memo summarizes the results of a poll conducted by Wilson Research
Strategies for the Gary Nodler for Congress campaign on April 28-29, 2010.
The results indicate that Gary Nodler is well-positioned in his campaign to be the next
Congressman from Missouri’s 7th congressional district.
Key Observations
1) Gary Nodler has been successful in building his name ID throughout Missouri’s 7 th
congressional district
Almost one in three (31%) GOP primary voters view Gary Nodler favorably, compared
to fewer than one in ten (7%) who view him unfavorably.
o Almost six in ten (57%) GOP primary voters in the 7th district have now heard
of Gary Nodler.
Voters who know Gary Nodler are voting for him. Nodler leads with 32% among those
who have heard of him and 41% among those who know enough about him to have
an opinion.
3) When looking at just the decided vote, Gary Nodler leads by three points with 29%.

Conclusions
While the GOP primary in Missouri’s 7th congressional district is still anyone’s to win, Gary
Nodler is in the driver’s seat at this stage. With sufficient resources, he is well-placed to win
the Republican nomination.
Methodology
Wilson Research Strategies conducted a study of likely GOP primary election voters in
Missouri’s 7th Congressional District utilizing Registration Based Sampling methodology.
Respondents were contacted by phone via a live telephone operator interview on April 28-29,
2010. The study had a sample size of n=400 GOP primary election voters. The margin of
error is equal to +4.9% in 95 out of 100 cases.
