Love your enemies..

I love you) OT law na love your neighbour as yourself
Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be
sons of your Father in heaven
Jesus teaches that loving those who love us is easy and even unbelievers can do
that.
He illustrated Gods undiscriminating love to all people. by using an illustration
that the sun rise and the rain fall both for the good and evil.
LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR, but WHO is YOUR NEIGHBOR? (Luke 10:29). the Parable of
the Good Samaritan. Here Jesus taught that His followers must demonstrate love to
all kinds of peopleno matter what faith, nationality, or personalityenemies
included.
With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).
That which God demands, only He can accomplish, including the demand to love
our enemies.
Pwede kang ma corner dito if you would treat the Pharisees as enemy of Jesus, kasi
we can remember na inaadmonish ni Jesus yung mga actions ng mga Phariseo..
Hindi yun mukhang love, but if you consider the totality of the circumstances they
benefit from this input. (parang pag pinagalitan ka ng mama mo)
agape love seeks the best for its object. Pagmamahal na gusto mo yung the
the resolve to put the welfare of other above our own.. (kaya mo ba to gawin
towards your enemies?)
This does not mean that you will like every person. God has given us minds to
discern, to some extent, the hearts of others. We also are made in Gods image and
should not unnecessarily put ourselves in harms way by trusting someone who is
not worthy of that trust. (Jesus slipped away from crowds in Nazareth because He
knew their hearts and needed to protect Himself.)

Giving to the Needy (Charity)

Almsgiving is a long-standing practice within the Judeo-Christian tradition.
Whoever is kind to the needy honors God (Proverbs 14:31; see also Proverbs
19:17; 21:13; 22:9; and 29:7).
Jesus taught that almsgiving is for God to see, not to show off before others. Those
giving out of their love for God are not to announce their giving or draw attention to
it.
buong sambayanan,)
When we give or help others, it must be done out of true love for God, without
drawing attention to ourselves.

PRAYER

What is the proper way to pray?

Sitting, standing, or kneeling ?
hands open or closed or lifted to God?
Do our eyes need to be closed when we pray?
Is it better to pray in a church building or out in nature?
Should we pray in the morning when we get up or at night before we go to
bed?
Are there certain words we need to say in our prayers?
How do we begin our prayers?

What is the proper way to close a prayer?

Some believe that if
we do not say exactly the right things, or pray in the right position, God will not hear
and answer our prayer. This is completely unbiblical. God does not answer our
prayers based on when we pray, where we are, what position our body is in, or in
what order we word our prayers.
Lords Prayer(THE Closest pattern to a prayer mentioned in the bible)- not a prayer
we are to memorize and recite to God. It is an example of the things that should go
into a prayer

worship, trust in God, requests confession and submission.

The proper way to pray is to express our hearts to God.(keeping in mind that He
knows best and will not grant request that is not in accordance to his will) His desire
is for prayer to be a real and personal connection between Himself and us. (God is
interested in the content of the heart more than our words)
Other matter are all side issues, subject to personal preference, conviction, and
appropriateness.
1 John 5:14-15 to have confidence when we come to God in prayer, knowing He
hears us and will grant whatever we ask as long as it is in His will.

WE MUST PRAY IN JESUS NAME.

John 14:13-14, And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may
bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
Some misapply this verse, thinking that saying in Jesus name at the end of a
prayer results in Gods always granting what is asked for.(Again para syang nagiging
magic formula and is unbiblical)
Praying in Jesus name
It means praying with His authority and asking God the Father to act upon our
prayers because we come in the name of His Son.
Essentially, it is the same thing as praying according to the will of God
So pwede mo gamiting yung mga salita na sa pamamagitan ng anak mong si Jesus, or by
the authority of Jesus your Son basta ba you really really mean it..

If what we ask for or say in prayer is not for Gods glory and according to His will,
saying in Jesus name is meaningless. (E.g. Lord, patayin mo tong mga
nambubully sa akin in Jesus name amen)
It is not the words in the prayer that matter, but the purpose behind the prayer. (our
Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him!)

AMEN
The meaning of AMEN Hebrew and greek for truly or so be it.
In Deutronomy, amen was used as response to curses pronounced by God on sins.
(Parang agreement ng tao sa righteous sentence handed down by their holy God,
responding, "So let it be.") They see the punishment as patas, totoo, at dapat.

In Chronicles, amen was linked with praise (in the OT, the highest expression of
praise to God is obedience, and when we say amen to His commands and
pronouncements, our praise is sweet music to His ears.)
The New Testament writers all use amen at the end of their epistles. (The
implication is that they are saying, May it be that the Lord will truly grant these
blessings upon you.)
When Christians say amen at the end of our prayers, we are following the model
of the apostles, asking God to please let it be as we have prayed.
Remember the connection between amen and the praise of obedience, all prayers
should be prayed according to the will of God (hindi yung mag ppray ka Lord, let
your will be done, pero Lord sya na lang po kasi!)
