Centerra Gold: We do not yet understand the implication of this
decision"
Suspension of licenses held by Toronto-based Centerra Gold are preliminary in
nature until final resolution of the claim made by the Movement for Saving Mt.
Noyon NGO, according to an e-mailed statement today from company
spokesman John Pearson. We do not yet understand the implication of this
decision on the validity of the licenses or CGMs existing operations. We are
continuing to gather further information": Pearson.

Over 600 Mongolian catering enterprises earn around $22.1 mln in Q1

2016
Total revenues of 642 Mongolian catering enterprises being surveyed reached
MNT44.2 billion (around US$22.1 million) in the first quarter of 2016. The rate
increased by MNT883.8 million or 2% compared to the same period last year
thanks to an increase in the revenues of restaurants by MNT3.1 billion.

Tavantolgoi JSC to establish coal concentration plant
Tavantolgoi JSC /MSE:TTL/ included establishing coal concentration plant in its
medium-to-long term plan. R. Seddorj, CEO of the company, relayed during the
"Coal and Metals Mongolia 2016" that by 2020, Tavantolgoi will be exporting 50%
of its production once the plant fully operates.

Japan April Trade Surplus 823.5 Billion Yen, Beats Estimates
Japans exports fell for a seventh consecutive month in April as the yen
strengthened, underscoring the growing challenges to Prime Minister Shinzo Abes
efforts to revive economic growth. Overseas shipments declined 10.1 percent in
April from a year earlier, the Ministry of Finance said on Monday. The median
estimate of economists surveyed by Bloomberg was for a 9.9 percent drop.
Imports fell 23.3 percent, leaving a trade surplus of 823.5 billion yen ($7.5
billion), the highest since March 2010.
