major line is covered. Adding a minor line(s) to such major on one contract will also add it to all
the other eligible contracts.

The Asset Management: Minor Line Search pop-up window will appear. Here, you will search
for the minor line(s) to associate to the major line. Click either the Serial Number(s) / PAK
Number(s), Instance Number(s), PO Number(s), or SO Number(s) radio button.
7.
Depending on the radio button selected in the previous step, enter a value in the Value

The value entered in the textbox and searched for will only display records that are standalone

products that will be valid to add to a major line. In addition, only line items which you have
access to will be displayed. If you would like to move a covered product, you will need to do so
using either the Add Minor to Major functionality for quoting or the Upload Manager functionality
within Contract Manager. Refer to the CSCC User Guide and Contract Upload Manager Job Aid
respectively for details.
Step
9.
Action
Select the minor line(s) you want to associate to the major line. You can select up to 50 minor
lines. This includes both serialized and non-serialized lines. However, the total number of
minor lines that you will be allowed to add to the selected major line will depend on the number
of minor lines that the select major line already contains. A major line can contain up to 50
serialized/non-serialized minor lines in the configuration. Therefore, if a selected major line
contains 28 minor lines in the configuration, for example, you will be allowed to add only 22
more minor lines. To add the selected minor line(s) to both the configuration and the contract,
click Add Minor to Configuration and Contract.

displaying red hard-stop error icons ( ) for the minor lines that did not pass the validations. All
such lines will not be selectable. You can click a red hard-stop error icon to view the details of
the error. Minor lines that successfully pass the validations will be displayed with a selectable
checkbox. If the selected major line already contains 50 minor lines in the configuration, the
following Error Information message will be displayed on clicking the corresponding hard-stop
error icon. In this case, you will not be able to add additional minor lines to the selected major
line.
