Why LRQA?
Whilst CPF is committed to sustainability,

is the process whereby companies report
on their non-financial performance.
These reports allow organisations
to demonstrate to stakeholders the

Improving performance,
reducing risk

impact their activities are having on the

environment, society and sustainability,
which are vitally important to its
reputation and contribute to the
overall success of the business.
In recognition of LRQAs reputation,
CPF approached LRQA in2013 to
undertake a Sustainability Report (SR)

record of working with high-profile
clients spanning a variety of sectors
and the competency of its project
team - who has participated in Global

Reporting Guidelines working groups
to produce the GRIs Technical Protocol
(a publication of process guidance
on how to define the content of a
sustainability report) assured CPF
that LRQA has the knowledge and
expertise to help and meet CPFs
requirements and organisational
objectives.

2013. The verification audit that LRQA
provided was executed on the basis of
the sustainability reporting guidelines
GRI-G3.1, provided by the GRI (Global
Reporting Initiative).
In May 2013, GRI launched its fourth
generation Sustainability Reporting
Guidelines (G4). CPF continues to see
the added benefit of sustainability
verification as well as the partnership
with LRQA which has helped the
organisation to demonstrate to their
customers that their management

is fully committed to sustainability

governance continual improvement.
Working with LRQA, the CSR&SD
Committee team embarked on an
operation that focussed on identifying
processes, procedures and associated
documentation areas to work towards
adapting and implementing to the
new reporting guidelines. With its
strong management commitment,
CPF achieved their SR verification
again in 2014 and 2015 through
LRQA. Verification of the CPFs report,
information and data by LRQA will
give CPF the assurance that their report
contains the right material and that
the data systems on which their reports
rely on are robust and reliable. LRQA
