About us
Saraswat Educational Society was established in 1911 and is
now at the head of a plethora of educational institution,
including

Caculo

College

of

Commerce

and

Management Studies, with a focus on value based education.

Sridora Caculo College of Commerce and Management Studies
has been imparting education for the past eighteen years,
offering courses which include management, commerce and
computer applications.
Sridora Caculo College of Commerce and Management Studies
is one of the first colleges to bring BBA to Goa in the year 2001
after gaining affiliation with Goa University in 2000.

Learning Resources
Library
At one end where internet provides all the necessary current
information and reviews, the institute's library on the other end
provides for all the references that the students will need in
their three years of BBA. The library consists of a very wide
book bank with hundreds of Indian and Foreign references that
get revised every year. References and other reading material
get updated regularly and new editions and names are added
to the collection as per contemporary academic needs of the
Program. The library also consists of magazines and journals of
all the functional areas of the management discipline.

Classrooms
Unlike regular academic sessions where lecturing is the major
tool for imparting education, training at Saraswat BBA is purely
interaction

oriented.

Group

discussion,

presentation,

deliberations and debates form the major methodology for

training at Saraswat BBA. Almost all disciplines engage in
research based assignments and classroom presentations. To
enable smooth functioning of every day academics the
classrooms are equipped with all the state of art facilities like
LAN based information sourcing, projection systems and so on.

Computer Lab
Project & research based education always requires a constant
inflow

of

information.

Contemporary

markets,

industry,

economies and education are linked to one such source

Internet. SCCCMS education systems demands that students
elicit information to corroborate their assignments. Towards this
end the computer lab is equipped with broadband to facilitate
easy and fast access for the students to suffice their
information requirement needs and Wi-Fi is provided for using
laptops in the campus

Guest Lecturers & Co- Curricular activities

Getting knowledge on how an industry functions is important
for a student.
Keeping this in mind, the institute organizes regular guest
lectures and seminars so that there can be first had interaction
between the industry personnel & the students. The students

are also allowed to organize industrial study tours to different

parts of the country.

Students

The students come from diverse backgrounds Science,

Commerce, Arts and Vocational. This results in a multicultural environment, translating into mutual exposure,
which trains for global careers which have similarly
challenging environments. The very best students are
selected out of a large pool of candidates who excel in
the Undergraduate Admission Test, conducted by the All
India Management Association. Batches of 50 ensure
personal attention and a platform to discuss one on one
with the faculty, apart from becoming a cohesive unit of
talent driven career makers.

Community service projects and participation in culture fests,

a part and parcel of the Saraswat education. Hikes, picnics and
