During the summer 1663 Antoine Dionne dit-Sanssoucy, his wife Catherine and their 2 year old son André,
embarked for New-France, undoubtedly on board the one of the five ships which came to Quebec that year:
the "Phoenix de Flessingue", June 30; "the Bull", after July 24; a vessel from Normandy, July 30; and two
of the king's ships, "the Gold Eagle" and "the Garden of Holland", on September 22.(2)
