students art work to be,
recommended size is about 2ft by

Have students crumble up the
piece of paper as much as they
can, and then have them flatten it
back out.
Show students pictures of the
Lascaux Caves to show them
ideas, and tell them about the
history.
Have color pastels or crayons
(earthly colors) out for students,
and tell them to draw an animal of
their choice. Students can be as
creative as they want with their
animals.
When students are done, have
them present their cave art to the

Modifications/Adaptations
This project is perfect for students who have
fine motor difficulties because the teacher
can choose the size of paper to use, and they
could give this students a bigger piece of
paper to draw their animal.
This project will also work well with
students with gross motor difficulties
because it is up to the student on how big
they would like o draw their animal.
