Bagaimana sistem seleksi GPPed?

Seleksi GPPed dilakukan langsung oleh IPSF APRO. Setelah kamu melakukan registrasi dan mengisi esai
pendek yang ada di form-nya, pihak IPSF akan memberi tahu status berhasil / tidaknya seminggu kemudian.
Apa saja persyaratannya?
Tidak ada persyaratan khusus, yang penting kamu 1) anggota IPSF APRO, 2) melakukan registrasi, 3)
dinyatakan lulus dan diberi invitation letter, serta 4) memenuhi biaya yang diperlukan saat deadline yang
telah ditentukan nantinya.
Apa saja esai pendeknya?
Berdasarkan registrasi dua tahun ke belakang, pertanyaan yang diberikan meliputi:
1. Motivation - 1500 words (how do you know the GPPed program? what is your relationship with your
recommender/organisation? why do you apply?)
2. Your understanding about GPP (Good Pharmacy Practice) - 500 words (what do you know about GPP?
any ideas how to implement GPP in your education? which listed in GPP the most in your
pharmaceutical education in your point of view?)
3. Introduction of GPP in your country - 500 words (do you apply and how do you apply GPP in your
education / country? are there any kind of regulation / laws related to GPP in your country (please
elaborate)? do your workplace / country implement any other quality improvement policy / project
other than GPP, if yes please at least state the name of policy / project, and the unit / person in charge
of it?
4. Introduce your pharmacy education - 500 words (introduction of your pharmacy education - structure curriculum - requirements of being a pharmacists, introduction of your rule in your university /
association, your future career planning, viewpoint to the medical environment of your society)
5. Your opinion and goal for this program - 500-1000 words (what do you expect from this training
program? what do you want to achieve after this program?)
6. Your Action Plan after this Program, including the Resources and Supports You might Need from Asia
Pacific Regional Office (at least 500 words)
Kalau kamu sudah diterima, bagaimana?
Akan diberikan preliminary assignment, dengan pertanyaan meliputi pengetahuan tentang tiap topik yang
akan dibahas selama training nantinya. Bisa dikerjakan bersama dengan sesama delegasi dari ITB/
Indonesia, sumbernya bisa dengan wawancara ke dosen/RS langsung atau membaca artikel-artikel di
internet dan membaca 1) guideline GPP yang dikeluarkan FIP, 2) CPFB. Pertanyaannya antara lain sebagai
berikut.
A. Overview of GPP and Introduction of Hospital Pharmacy in Taiwan
1. Please describe the hospital accreditation or practice standards in your country and introduce how
they work.
2. Please describe what are the contemporary pharmacy practice models in your country? What are
the current challenges?
3. Where do you think pharmacists can have the greatest impact on the regulations of practice within
their institutions?
4. Please prioritise and indicate one of the pharmacy practice model which can be implemented in
your country/hospital settings.
B. Medication Distribution System
1. Please describe the medication distribution system in your hospital, from physician prescribing,
transferring prescriptions, pharmacist dispensing and medication distribution to the wards.
2. In your hospital, what at medication errors occurred frequently in the above processes? And what
are the possible causes of the mistakes?
3. What can you do to prevent these mistakes?

C. Maintain and Improve Professional Performances

1. What would you like to share with the classmates from different countries that you thought the best
of the continuing professional development in your country?
2. What is the most desirable change on the issues of continuing professional development in your
mind for your country after this lecture?
D. Sterile Product Preparation
1. What are the pros and cons of using dispensing machine for parenteral nutrition admixture? What is
the reason why most of the hospitals in your country use or not use dispensing machine?
2. After the lecture, what do you consider the most important issue needed to be corrected in your
country?
E. Medication Management
1. Please describe the medication safety mechanism/systems in your hospital settings.
2. In the future, will automation replace the pharmacists or enhance their practice?
3. What are the key elements in successful and efficient operation of a pharmacy and therapeutics
committee?
4. What are the strategies to mitigate drug shortages for hospital pharmacy?
5. How do formularies influence medication use within institutions?
F. Clinical Pharmacy Services
1. Please describe the manpower and highlight the current models of clinical pharmacy service in your
hospital or in your country.
2. What are the current challenges for providing/developing clinical pharmacy services in your
country/hospital settings?
3. Please prioritise the types of clinical pharmacy services which can be implemented in your country/
hospital settings.
