1. Narrative (Traveling)
The Journey To The Snakes Island
Do you ever think that every inch in every thing in this world is very
awesome, dont you? Its like we want to know them. However, We dont need to
think about the world now, just look around us. Like what I do if I go to my
hometown, Siompu, which need a speedboat to go there. The speedboat pass by
an island named Liwutongkidi or also known as Snakes Island. I always curious
with what could be in that island. Is there many snake there? Or is there many
food or plant that I never see before? I keep it as one of my dream and hope I wiil
go there one day.
Unexpectedly, when I went to my hometown last time, my cousin asked
me to join them. They wanted to go to Liwutongkidi and wow! Of course, I didnt
need to think more time to accept. Using a small boat we crossed the sea. It was
middle day when we arrived. Nobody lived in the island due to the weather. The
sun brightened very hard. I could see many plant were arid or probably died.
Some place also looked like it had been burnt. We thought that it was normal to
happen with the weather. Then we walked through the island and found a small
well and we tested the water. It was little salty. Kept on walking, after passing a
long field, in front of us there was something like a gate and it could be our last
step toward. It said no one might go there. For our safety, We had to go back.
Now we walked toward the beach and decided to spend our left time before went
home by taking a rest there.
Even though that was a short trip, in fact I had been there and fed my
curiosity about the island. No wonder no body dwelt there. I thought maybe there
were a terrible snake who can appear anytime. Yet, I didnt think that someone

could survive himself for a long time with the weather, arid plant or salty water.
However, I always know that was a nice trip.

2. Persuasive (Transportation)
Bus Is A Nice Transportation
Nowdays, anyone needs transportation to go from one place to another. In
daily life, many people use transportation to go to school, market, college, office,
or other destination place. The most utilizing transportation to do so is bus.
Bus is one of public transportation. It is a nice transportation. It can bring
you to your destination place. By using this transportation, we dont realize that
we can share many goodness to another rider and driver on the road. It one
causes by the size of bus, it is large enough to take many passengers. It will
decrease the number of transportation on the road and it can avoid the traffic
jam. If many people choose to use buses for their transportation, we can at least
free from the crowd of traffic jam. Who wants to splash with traffic jam in the
morning and makes us late to do our activities? Do you? No, no one. I believe
that. Besides that, you can feel comfortable inside the bus. Some bus not only
provides chairs to sit, but also air conditioner (AC), air freshener, and some nice
song to hear. That will very nice to be there. In addition, bus has their own line.
Make sure that you take the right bus.
Get your bus now. Think about the pleasant thing that you can do in the
bus. That will be a nice trip.

3. Expositiry (Health)
Pollution
Pollution is the exit and entry of a substance, energy, or other components
into the environment so that the quality decreases to a certain level which causes
the environment cannot function as what it should to do. Nowdays, many people
realizes that pollution is very dangerous for us and for our earth in the future but
we keep on doing activities that we know it will produce some pollution. Activities
like, driving or cooking, it may be one cause of pollution. It is important to know
about pollution because the increase of death rate in the whole of world is one
caused by pollution.
Pollution is divided into three kind. The first is soil pollution which may
occur by an industrial wastes that had been thrown to the environment. The
wastes could bring some substance which damaged some of the soil element.
Because of that some plant cannot grow properly. The second is water pollution
which also may occur by an industrial wastes, especially for the industrial waste
that had been released to the river. It could bring some material which made
contamination to the water and death for the aquatic species. Yet, Water-borne
diseases like cholera, diarrhea also had increased in all places. The third is air
pollution. It is the most dangerous form of pollution. It may occur because
excessive burning of fuel which is a necessity of our daily lives for cooking,
driving and other industrial activities. Those activity releases a huge amount of
chemical substances such as sulfur dioxide and hazardous gases into the air.
sulfur dioxide and hazardous gases can cause global warming and acid rain,
erratic rains and droughts worldwide. It would make tough for the animals to
survive and of course for all of creature in this world.
Anywhere and everytime, pollution had threatened our life or may be the
world. Pollution itself has been damaging our environment little by little. It is very
ironic because we cannot do much for this problem. One thing that we can do is
keep our environment as well as we can.

4. Dialogue (Fashion)
At The Bus Stop

In the afternoon, after having all of my subject today, I was standing at a

bus stop to wait the bus that I used to take. While waiting for the bus, I saw
someone get off and I thought that I recognized her. Of course I knew him. He
was my classmate when I was Senior High School. Then I tried to call her and
began some conversation with her.
Me
: Nelty...!
Nelty : Rahma!
Me
: Hei, Is that you? Oh my god, I thought that it was not you. You
look different with your new style.
Nelty : Oh, really! I just try to get something new.
Me
: By the way are you in hurry now? Can you sit and have some
Story with me while waiting the bus here? I do really miss you.
Nelty : No, Im not in hurry. And of course that will be pleasant to talk
something.
Me
: Oh, look yourself, you wear, shoes, handbag, long dress, all of
them had been designed by a famous designer. Again, your
bracelet, necklace, and your earring, they are new brand. It
should be expensive.
Nelty : Yes, you know, how hard to me to get them.
Me
: And look your hair, that is a new hair style. I know that style
is presented by Syahrini, One of famous actress now.
Nelty : Yap, it is called Jambul Khatulistiwa.
Me
: Hm, actually where have you been? Because your
appearance now,? Hm, it is not for daily appearance!
Nelty : Are you kidding me, of course I didnt wear what I wear now to
go to market, college or at home. I had just arriving from a
birthday party.
Me
: Hm, I see. But your fashion today is great. Very awesome!
Nelty : Oh, come on! Dont too much.
Me
: Oh look, that my bus. Ive to go now. I leave my phone
number, here, call me later. Okay.?! By!
Nelty : Okay, by!

5. Desccriptive (Family or Relative)

My Sister Mandy
Many people belives that someone should at least has a resemble with
her sister or brother. But that wasnt work to me. My sister Mandy didnt have any
resemble to me. I dont know how it be. I just wonder. I have much opposite with
her.
My sister Mandy, sixteen years old. She is tall enough, its about 170. It
overstep my tall which is just 147. When we walk together, people will think that
Im the younger. Moreover, She has big bone. If I saw her, she looks fat but I

know that is her big bone. someone can think that she is fat but I will not cause I
know the truth. Yet, she has a beautiful straight hair. I do really like her hair. It
falls and snine like the sun.
I always hope to get what my sister has. But in fact, I also know that I have
to be grateful with all that I have till now. Well my sister has them all and I believe
I have another in me that more beautiful.
