1. Kompetensi Inti (KI) adalah gambaran secara kategorial mengenai

kompetensi dalam aspek sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan yang harus


dipelajari peserta didik untuk suatu jenjang sekolah, kelas, dan
matapelajaran.
2. Kompetensi Dasar (KD) adalah kemampuan untuk mencapai Kompetensi
Inti (KI) yang harus diperoleh peserta didik melalui pembelajaran.
3. Perbedaan KD dan indikator adalah

a. Kompetensi Dasar (KD) adalah kemampuan untuk mencapai


Kompetensi Inti (KI) yang harus diperoleh peserta didik melalui
pembelajaran, sedangkan
b. Indikator adalah kompetensi dasar secara spesifik yang dapat dijadikan
untuk menilai ketercapaian hasil pembelajaran dan juga dijadikan tolak
ukur sejauh mana penguasaan peserta didik terhadap suatu pokok
bahasan atau matapelajaran.
4. Perbedaan KD dan Tujuan Pembelajaran adalah

a. Kompetensi Dasar (KD) adalah kemampuan untuk mencapai


Kompetensi Inti (KI) yang harus diperoleh peserta didik melalui
pembelajaran, sedangkan
b. Tujuan Pembelajaran adalah target pencapaian kemampuan siswa
secara kolektif yang mencakup kemampuan yang akan dicapai siswa
selama proses belajar dan hasil akhir belajar pada suatu kompetensi
dasar (KD).
5. Kompetensi Inti (KI) tidak harus dituliskan dalam RPP karena Kompetensi
Inti (KI) dalam setiap jenjang sekolah, kelas, dan matapelajaran sama satu
dengan yang lainnya, sedangkan Kompetensi Dasar (KD) berbeda dalam
setiap jenjang sekolah dan kelas, karena Kompetensi Dasar disusun sesuai
dengan materi matapelajaran yang diajarkan.

A. Materi Pembelajaran
1. Definition of Descriptive Text
Descriptive Text is a text that generally use in daily life for describing
thing, place, person, animal, etc. With it visual, smell, voice, or texture
characteristic.
The purpose of Descriptive Text
The purpose of descriptive text is to describe and reveal thing, place, or
person features generally, without doing any specific research.

Generic Structure of Descriptive Text


In descriptive text, there is two part of generic structure :
a.

Identification
Identification is a generic structure part of descriptive text that
contain a topic of thing, place, and living beings that want to be
describe by the reader.

b. Description
Description is a last part of generic structure for descriptive text that
contains visualization about the topic in identification part in
physical, quality, and general behavior manner.

Generic features of descriptive text.


a. Descriptive Text using Present Tense, for the example: go, eat, fly,
etc.
b. Descriptive Text using Adjectives (kata sifat) that have Describing
(mengambarkan),

Numbering

(Menomerkan),

dan

Classifying

(mengklasifikasikan) characteristic, For the example: two strong

Focus to particular place, person, animal, or thing. To describe
the subject, must be specific not just general subject. For the
example : If the subject is animal, it must be more specific. Like
Lion, cat, or goat.

Example:
Jakarta City
Jakarta is the capital city of Indonesia. It is centrally located within the
country on the northwest coast of Java Island at the mouth of the Ciliwung river.
Jakarta dominates Indonesians administrative, economy, cultural activities, and is
a major commercial and transportation hub within Asia-with a population of about
9 millions, Jakarta has more people than any other cities in Indonesia.
The climate is hot and humid year-round. Rainfall occurs throughout the
year, although it is the heaviest from November to May. To average annual
precipitation in Jakarta is 1, 790 mm. The city lies on a flat, low plain and is prone
to flooding during periods of heavy rainfall. Kota is citys oldest commercial area.
It is located south of the old Sunda Kelapa harbour. Glodok, the south of Kota is a
banking, retail and residential neighborhood with a large Chinese population.
Merdeka Square with Monas (The National Monument) dominates the citys
central district. Surrounding the square are Istana Merdeka, the presidential
palace, the National Museum, and the Istiqlal Mosque.
