Students will have a chance to check out two majors. Please take full advantage of the session by coming
prepared with questions. Make sure you get the contact information from the presenters so that you can ask any

Prepare for a successful advising appointment and course registration on Day 2. Learn how to read a schedule
of courses to figure out when your classes are offered, find out how to use the guide to majors to decide on
courses, and see how to navigate the UF portal my.ufl.edu and the on-line registration system known as ISIS.

Small group 3: Location same as Small Group I room 1:35-2:35 p.m.


"Oh, what do I choose?" Learn about the ideal versus the real schedule, and start narrowing down your
course choices to create a rough schedule. Your Preview Advisor and Staff leader will be available for one-on-one assistance
so be sure to ask for help if you have any questions.

With more than 5,000 students and 63 fraternities and sororities, the Florida Greek Community has been a longstanding

Your academic adjustment to UF goes hand in hand with your social adjustment to the University of Florida.
Nationwide, college students and their family members find themselves facing new experiences and challenges as
they seek to successfully transition into the first year of college.

8:35-9:10 p.m. Small Group 4: Meet your Preview Staff member in the Reitz Union Grand Ballroom
Yes, your first year at UF will be as exciting and challenging as people tell you. Asking questions on how to handle
the different experiences that await you are key to a successful first year at UF.

9:30 p.m.+ Broward Hall programs and activities


• 9:30 p.m. CRA or ChRA Placement testing for students who did not complete Preview Prep: meet Preview
Staff leader in the lobby of Broward Hall.
• Additional schedule help to get ready for your Day 2 advising appointment.
